Very happy for you. It is one thing to buy one of these cars and then be afraid to drive it. It is quite another to not only drive it, but to become immersed in the culture and family of owning one. Very impressive. You are more enthusiastic than most I have seen, and that is very refreshing. Enjoy it in good health, congrats on the adventure.

I disagree somewhat although revving is not nessecary its fun to hear your beloved SV V12 music is all not to impress anyone or anything. I rev the hell out of mine 2017 Coupe and have 5000 miles on it hard miles too runs better than ever. They have rev limiters and such as well. Most 90 % i say will never wear them out at all as they never out any miles on them. They love miles and more the better. Never one issue with it. Same with my last 14. ;-)

Purple is outstanding but free revving to the redline without the driveline engaged is asking for a failure. The 60 degree block is tough though so have fun. You paid for it!

Wow...congrats!

I'll be honest, when I started reading the thread I just assumed it was a guy....and I assumed that the chick in the car was his girlfriend. To be honest, that's my favorite combination...my car and gf...so it wasn't meant as sexist. But, super cool that you're a Lamborghini chick...that's so rare. Congrats again on a stunning SV!

I hear an echo?

I guess I should have gotten the hint after the first time. :eusa_think:

Just wondering which board members are in your picture. Nice to put a face with a name.

I don't know who has which screen name but I am sure they can speak for themselves if they choose to chime in here. The picture was only the small portion of the larger group of owners on our drive who got lost with Balboni because none of us could see to follow directions haha

It was such a blast! The community has been great. It is funny, the SV has basically become my daily driver...almost 3,000 miles on her in 8 weeks :)

Wow, I have never put 3000 miles on any Lambo I have owned. Something to be said for the trophy value to me but you are having a blast as well by

driving it! Glad you are excited about it.

That's a tone of miles in 8 weeks, well done.

And that is why i don't go to any of these meets, packed with idiots showing off , waste of time

i don't wear shoes when i pop up at them.......It's amusing to me when people who don't know me(most people these days) look at me like i'm lost or think i'm a loser. Little do they know.....

That's quite a list, very impressive, yes my current one is a SV Roadster.

doesn't SV and roadster toegether detract from the sporty-no compromise soul of an SV?

just kidding, Fortis :icon_mrgreen:

i understand what you mean and i am fan of SV roadsters (even the impossibly rare diablos)

i think the colors and options are so "personal" that is very hard for me to understand how she could benefit from any opinion on this for her next car

her SV roadster came out GREAT imo and i see many agrees on the topic

i mean is really so much a question of taste than is hard to say "this seat is better than the other" or "this color is more suited to the other"

i have seen "weird" combinations to become very rare and sometimes more expensive with time

as an example the "green" countach S that was sold sometime ago at auction made a mega result for its unique color combo. in period nobody wanted one like that ...many would probably have told the owner "why you did not buy it in white (or red or black...) ?
