a 4 valve Countach can hang close to the tail of a Diablo till about 100, then the drag of the Countach is too much to overcome and it quickly falls behind.

Then take that damn wing off already!! Jeeez... :eek3dance:

Diablo driver really hosed that one... Given that the car was "improved" he was probably adjusting his fly or something and missed the start. Should have come in ahead of the murci... :thefinger:

I've been lucky enough to own all of the above.

My own experience with a Murci I had a 03 and it was a fast one, by comparison the video seems accurate against the Aventador.

I drove my Murci more than any of the other cars-around 18k miles and knew the car well. My friend had a 98 Roadster and we used to run them side by side on rallies and the Murci was just a hair faster. We would start at 50mph and run them up high-once about 178 for me(fcuking white van got in my way) he hit 190's. Cars were damn near even. We only had exhaust systems in them.

The Diablo is a 91 in this video and was slower than the rest of the diablos built. My SE30 would smoke it. Mite give the Murci a run for the $. However it's not stock. Some mods to exhaust(I didn't do them)

My 25th countach was slow. I couldn't keep up with my Maybach 62 when I drove it from Palm Springs to vegas. Was fast but slow to get there.

This video is a great find and the colors are correct for the Bulls. I'm not into drag videos but this one I really like.

Nice video.

From a marketing and technological advancement point of view, it's only fair that each flagship model is faster than its predecessor. Off from the start, the CT feels just as fast as the rest but will soon fall behind at around 85 due to the hp deficiency and it's aerodynamics or lack thereof. The Diablo feels the heaviest but I actually like that feel overall as it provides the proper feedback (to me anyway). A LP670SV would almost run neck to neck to a regular AV but the AV-SV will start pulling away above 70. The 2 generations of SV's feel totally different though. The 670SV is much more hairy chested and above 90, one soon realizes how dated it really is. The AV-SV is a lot easier; perhaps too easy in fact; and, IMO, I would prefer more feedback from it instead of simply floor it, pull the right paddle and it just goes and goes.

fcuk it, I'd have the Countach. Stopped caring about 1/10ths or seconds. Still the best looking car out there, Diablo close 2nd.

Which Diablo do you have again? I forgot. My Diablo definitely feels lighter and more nimble than my Murci.

Interesting that they all were about exactly 2 seconds a part...There's nothing not to like with that grouping!

Like I said in another thread, every boy's dream car and a poster of it on the wall to boot.

Moved up to a 6.0SE. Likely one of the heaviest if not the heaviest of the entire series. That versus a 670SV so it's fairly obvious. I like the feel of the 6.0SE though.

Wings on the Countach & Diablo don't help. Batwings being up on Murci don't help. I love the shot from the CT of all the cars pulling away and the Aventador being gone.

Also, super cool that some people put this together.
