  1. Abofaz...it's your old one . Still with me, going strong 6 1/2 years.
  2. So I thought my parking brake pads or cable needed adjustment. Off went diablo 6.0 for service for a left front shock replacement and brake switch. Evidently, hand brake ratchet mechanism is worn out and will not keep the parking brake engaged. The lever just drops down. I'm being told that not only is the part like $2000 plus, but it's on back order with no production/delivery timeline. Can this be fixed? Does one really need this part to be new from Lamborghini, and if so, is there a cross reference part possibly out there? Chime in all... Thanks much!!!
  3. I have that exact combo in my 6.0. It looks awesome and stands out BIG TIME from the mundane black!! Go with the Red for sure. AG
  4. Denver metro area, Colorado sux ass too. Had a house on the market for over 2 years, lost my ass on it!!!!! Finally sold last month for less than what I bought it for, which was $200k less than the initial buyer paid for it. Had to do landscaping, carried the mortgage for 2 years... blah, blah. Anyway just f...ing happy to be out from under it and only a loss of $75k!!!! Moving on.
  5. Just saw my car pics. I have Mike's old 6.0, the red is growing on me. What I do like is the red carpet vs. black. It livens up the interior.
  6. In November 07, 2 months after I purchased my Diablo, Lamborghini of Denver contacted me to see if I was interested in purchasing a 3 year, very comprehensive warranty for the car at $4k. The ability to do so stemmed from their company being Autonation and signing a contract with Toyota to provide the warranty for all their franchises. Since they own Lambo of Denver, my car qualified based on age. I asked a few questions on the board to get a feel if it was possibly worth it and decided to go ahead. At this point, it was a very good decision, since like I said, my first visit was $4k at the service dept. Call Todd at Lambo of denver and talk to him about the warranty availability?
  7. You are certainly right about being the one of the cleanest. The bonus now is that I still have 2 1/2 years of warranty left. One thing is that it truly runs amazingly well, even at high altitude. The guys at Lambo of Denver keep haggling me about selling it for me or taking it in on trade for a Superleggera. I am just not biting though. LOVE the 6.0!!!!!
  8. abolfaz; My windows seemed fine. But when I had the post purchase done at Lambo of Denver, Todd did tell me that the driver's side looked like it was going to give shortly. Of course I thought he was full of it, since you know, got to get a new customer for a few $$. Anyhow, he was right, a couple of months later, the window motor crapped out. And a few other things, as I mentioned before, that needed to be done or came up. However, pretty happy so far with the 600 miles I've put on, probably 300 just going back and forth for service calls to the dealer. At least it's a nice drive out there.
  9. Be careful during the replacement, if you have tint on the windows. Easy to scratch. Dealer had to have redone. I think it's just the motor, not the gears!
  10. I had the same problem. If it was just a one time up/down it was okay on the driver's side. Eventually, the motor went and it needed replacement. Had it done over winter at LamboDenver. However, I still think that the driver's side goes slower than the passenger's.
  11. Here is a good one; I was taking my daughter to ballet this morning and man, it's pretty tight with all the kids being dropped off. Anyhow, we park and I am getting her side door opened so she doesn't get run over by some moron driving thru the alley like an ahole and some middle age guy with a younger boy walks by. The kid is all crazy "look at that car dad!!". So the guy walks by and says," hey buddy, I'll trade my subaru for your car, how about it?" I didn't want to be a dick, so the best I could come up with was "That's pretty funny, but most people are willing to trade their house for this car". Of course I was just kidding back. But the dude was all serious "I am not trading my house for that" and just kept walking. I thought it was pretty funny. 01 diablo 6.0
  12. Enjoy your 6.0 I have had mine for about 6 months, and love every moment of driving it. Although, it's pretty rare due to the weather so far in Colorado.
  13. Greg, Contact Todd at Lamborghini of Denver. They are the only ones authorized to handle your PPI. Plus, they are truly awesome and fair group of guys. I had my post inspection done there. Todd installed new exhaust for me and handled some other issues. I recommend them highly, plus Todd is the only tech in the state of Colorado to handle a PPI or authorized by Lamborghini of USA. PM me if you need assistance. Alex
