SV-N-IT Report post Posted December 19, 2016 looking at possibly picking one up until the performante comes out. how do they compare, can you feel the power difference? I'm wondering around a track if one would perform better. seems the lighter 2wd 580 would be quicker. any comments would be appreciated. Fortis Report post Posted December 19, 2016 IMO, 580 is too soft, if you go from one to another you can feel the 580 was detuned, the suspension in the one I drove was very soft, on a not so good road it was bottoming out all over the place, it was quite unsettling. By the the time you get all the options you'd want you get to 610 money, I don't care for RWD which is the only difference, I probably would if I were into drifting but for the type of driving I am doing I couldn't feel that the cars were dynamically different. My vote goes to 610, incredible car and I definitely miss mine.
VCR Report post Posted December 19, 2016 I have driven both but on public roads only, not on track. The 610 feels very sure-footed. I have ridden in a 610 driven by a friend in a spirited manner on twisty mountainous road and it felt extremely neutral. The 580 feels quite a bit lighter especially the steering. Not sure if that's my cup of tea. I suppose it would be more fun if one plans on drifting it. But to have absolute confidence at V-max, I'll take the 610. FikseSTS Report post Posted December 19, 2016 my friend just got one, we raced a bit, was pretty close, felt like the 610 had a little more on the top end... need to get him over to my place so we can weigh the cars...

Griza Report post Posted December 20, 2016 I watched a clip that compared the two side by side. I'll try to find it and edit this post. I believe the reviewer enjoyed the 580 more due to fact that it was more sporty/racy than the 610. Pretty sure this was the clip.... Smash Boy Report post Posted December 20, 2016 At this point might as well go 458 if you want a RWD, Huracan if you want AWD. Not sure Lambo can outdo Ferrari at RWD at this point, and vice versa.

Sorry Fellippe I know you are a Ferrari fan but the 458 is terrible IMO
PCJR Report post Posted December 20, 2016 Regardless of which one you get, I'd recommend staying away from the dynamic steering option. I had it on my first 610 but not on the second and I definitely liked the second one better.

sl55 Report post Posted December 21, 2016 Get the 580 and with a few mods you'll be pushing 610+HP. I haven't driven mine yet because of the weather but when I test drove both cars back to back the 580 had more character. Plus I haven't seen one negative review about the 580 which says a lot and personally I like the look of the 580 over the 610 but that's just a personal preference. sl55 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 good info.. what mods will get you 610+hp?! RSC is working on a ECU upgrade that could add around20+HP. Also the race exhaust will give you a nice bump.

LamboNutter Report post Posted December 22, 2016 No more needed to get to 610hp! They simply 'detuned' it by lowering the rev-limit and thus it not reaching the 610 peak power. This, simply raise the rev-limiter to same as the 610-
