Allanlambo"s Bentley GT review

So its been a few weeks now since I got my Bentley Gt. Cutting straight to the chase, I have to say I absolutely love it. Everyday when we are about to go out, I ask myself should I take the Bentley or the Gallardo.... and always end up grabbing the Bentley.

On the exterior.... Not much to say... pretty car, classy and not all that flashy. Woman LOVE the Gt. Woman in Beverly Hills do not pay attention to the Lambo... they definitley love the GT.

The interior. Absolutely fantastic. The fit, finish, quality is bar none PERFECT. It is extremely comfortable in the front, and roomy enough in the back that Ive even sat my fat ass in there. I wouldnt want to go on an extended trip sitting in the back, but for woman it seems to be fine. The stereo works great. Only complaint Id say is that the Nav, compared to say my Escalade sucks ass. It is the worst part of the car.

Power. I actually find myself driving the car nice, slow and mellow. Its soo comfortable you just feel like chilling while driving it. But when you do wanna get into abit, Id say the power is entertaining. Its a nice rush of power. Ive done probobly 5-6 0-60mph Vbox runs in it, recording a best of 4.3, and a worst of 4.8. Not bad for a 5500lb car.

Brakes. Fantastic for a car of this size.

Fuel economy has been a complaint others have had.... And it certainly does suck, but for what we drive Ill prob fill up every 2 weeks. The fuel economy is something I could careless about.

Inmo, the Bentley Gt has NO competitors and is a no brainer in the 4 seater GT department. The car is soo good, soo hassle free it may end up being the car that kills my wanting of any further exotics.....

Accurate nutshell review Allan and I agree wholeheartedly.

Like you I had another BCGT and personally did not appreciate the first one I had. They hit my radar again recently as I browsed the LP Bentley section and after looking at dozens of photos and seeing prices fall I was sold on getting a second.

Ironically I ended up paying a bit more than what I expected only because in the exact color I wanted an unmolested example with low mileage was a few more bucks. I feel I still got a good deal and these cars are a lot of vehicle at today's prices. I ended up buying a low miles 07.

The engine is so smooth and the fit and finish I agree is fantastic. I also agree that the car gets noticed a lot more by the right kind of women than say a Lambo or Ferrari. Furthermore the car possesses an understated elegance and although it may say new money to some to me it simply says class.

I'm happier with this vehicle than any other vehicle I've had in the past three years (Murcie x 2, LP560, R8, SLR, 04 BCGT) although the SLR was up there too but enough on that. The bottom line with the BCGT is that it is a lot of car for the money and other than the nav which is borderline adequate the car otherwise is no-brainer for a daily driver or even a weekend funmobile to make you feel like a million bucks.

The car seems to give of a more mature quality and appeal, hence the appreciate of better women than the bimbo 20 somethings :lol2:

I like these cars a lot and wouldn't mind some seat time at all. My impressions are confirmed by you guys that it's a very relaxed experience that when spurred will offer some adrenaline if needed.

Thanks for the info!

I think once I do exhaust and ECU the adrenaline level should go up quite abit. It will be fun blowing people away off the line with 4 people in the car!

It is not a loud exhaust, it keeps all 4 cats, just slightly more rumbly...

That's the way to go with this type of car. It's not supposed to be loud, but have a good pressence. I myself am moving away from the "loud" "obnoxious" systems. Post some videos and get a photoshoot with NRG Lambo ASAP!

I loved the Arnage, but this adds all the goodness of the Arnage with abit of sportiness the Arnage was missing..

What is different is that we are approaching 40 faster than the Thrust SSC chasing the sound barrier... :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2:

Ten years ago neither an Arnage or a CGT would have been even remotely acceptable to Allan. :icon_mrgreen:
