  1. Anyone know this car? Another dealer other than the one in the link has the car now but no pics or info yet. Car now has 33k miles and stock wheels. When I looked at the carfax, it lists 2 prior accidents. The dealer says they were minor with no frame or engine damage. Says he doesn't know why the car was repainted other than the previous owner liked unique exotic cars. Looking for some more info about the accidents if I can get it. Thanks http://www.kellymotorcars.com/Vehicle/loca...i-Gallardo.aspx http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Rep...00887#undefined
  2. I hear ya guys, my last offer which was 5k higher than my initial offer, he sort of laughed it off and said we weren't even close. He then said I need to find another car(not quite sure what he meant by that)...following that, he posted an ebay link of 08 SL's, I guess to "prove" his point of how ridiculous my offers were. I mentioned that I thougt fair market value for the car was $135-140K...so maybe his link thing was to combat what I thought was FMV...dunno. Anyway, I don't really fault the dealer, obviously they are trying to make as much profit as possible...I don't blame them. I don't even really care about the "I"m in the car..." statement, cuz I"m fully aware it's a sales tactic and would expect nothing less actually. My beef is that he and I were really only about $5 to 6K apart. Some may say then it was my fault the deal went south...after all, they say, if you're already spending X amount, why not another 6 or 7K? That imho is just stupid. Where does that slippery slope lead? I would assume since exotics are extremely low volume compared to mass produced brands that the dealer has a healthy markup in the car to compensate. I get it. But for a dealer to ditch a deal that percentage wise was fairly nominal and leave the perspective buyer feeling as if they insulted the dealer with an over the top low ball offer isn't the way to do business in my opinion. $140K for that car was fair I believe. End rant...
  3. We weren't able to come together...oh well...the search continues
  4. They also have "a lot of interest" in the car I have another offer to make, and after that will walk.
  5. They're saying they have $143k in the car....I offered $140k out the door...they rejected
  6. Hey guys, I'm thinking about making an offer on this SL. What do you think is a good price for this car? http://www.lamborghinihouston.com/web/used...-Texas/2304608/ Thanks
  7. Dude...you love this thread don't ya. Talkin sh$t in the same thread on two forums...I must have pissed you off or something...just friendly conversation bro...chill the f#ck out!
  8. Thanks Kisco, let me know if you get into a stock 560. I'd be curious to hear your perspective given your previous car. I hear ya on the winters, I live in Colorado.
  9. I'm definitely on the hunt. I have the color, well two colors, that I like as well as the options already picked out. It's a matter of finding the right car for the right deal. My plan is to try and leave the car stock, but just about everything I've read on UGR is great. They would certainly be on my short list if I were to ever tt the car.
  10. Thank you, that does indeed help. If that's the case, I'm good with that. If I remember reading previous posts correctly, aren't you the one who just came out of a highly modified GT-R to a stock 560?
  11. Thanks vboxking, from what I've been researching that seems to be the consensus on the pre 09 G's. Before really locking my search down to primarily the 560, I was also looking at 08 430 scuds and 997.2 turbos. The overall package of the 560 just seems more appealing to me. As long as the G has that raw sensation of speed, thats should be fine for me. At this stage, the numbers aren't as important to me as the overall "experience" of the car. I'm hoping the 560 will deliver on that front. I've yet to drive one and unfortunately will more then likely not have that opportunity until just before the purchase. Hence current owner feedback is greatly appreciated.
  12. Here's a copy...would like to avoid poor form Hey guys, I've been snooping around lamborghini forums for about a year now trying to gather all the info I can about the car. I'm looking to get into an 09 560 coupe and leaving the car stock. However, it seems quite a few G owners feel the car is "slow" (even though they love the car and wouldn't consider getting rid of it for this reason). I realize the context of such talk is in relation to other supercars, however, I'm not sure a stock 560 running around a 3.7-60, and about 11.8 1\4, is slow...is it? These #'s are comparable to my 09 Plastic mess-06(before it was modded), which I didn't feel was slow at all. What do you guys think, especially those that feel their G needs to be "faster"? The tt setups sound nice, but I'd be scared to death to do that on such an exspensive vehicle. Anyway, I love the forum and hope to be part of the club soon! Thanks.
  13. Hey guys, new to the forum. I posted this in another lambo forum and thought I'd post it here as well for feedback. Thanks. porter edit: xxxxx
