Congratulations Bob Helms! Once again, for the 7th time, Team Underground takes home the title of King of the Streets! Bob Helms has been a long time top contender at the Texas Invitational and this year he has taken home the title! Bob will be featured on the cover of Street Race Magazine along with his Underground Racing X Version Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570 and there will also be great coverage from the entire Texas Speed Syndicate event so make sure to pickup a copy.

Underground Racing cars finished 1st through 4th in the King of the Streets putting down astonishing trap speeds all day long. The 2015 KOTS Champion Sebastian Robles with Kevin Howeth driving his Underground Racing Twin Turbo Audi R8 GT set a mind blowing new event record at 220 MPH!!!

We are very proud of our TI competing clients and glad to see so many others that came from all over the nation to attend and show support. A very special thanks goes out to John Reed, Precision Turbo, Proline Race Engines and the long list of vendors that support us. Thank you to the TSS crew that always does a great job running the event and continues to get even better every single time.

Damn, 216.X letting off....

It looked like if Gidi took off side by side with Bob, he may have been crowned champion. Either way, great showing.

Good job guys!

Yeah, but I'm glad it went to Bob. No hate towards Gidi though, that was a great race and the cars sounded awesome.

Good job guys

Lol wow!!! Complete rape!!

That r8 may have hit 230. You had to get back into boost with those 71mm turbos.

It was total rape. In the second video that Richard Fowler posted yesterday can see just how fast the R8 was pulling away from the Orange X version SL. I was like you gotta be kidding me....

I don't think anyone but UG can win TI now if that R8 shows up lol

First of all congratulations on a well deserved victory.

Coming back to the video, I have never seen anything pull as hard as that R8 does. It's absolutely mind blowing. The way it pulled away from that Viper and ate away through the gears. Just sick!!

Hmmm ...

Fastest, Quickest, most reliable Lambos (and R8's) on the street ... Check

TX2K Winner ... Check

TI Winner ... Check (7 times just to be sure)

I guess that just leaves one thing ... Or should I say ... 1,320 things (or feet) ...

Gonna be a real hoot!!!

If Tien's car was a bit faster, he mightve beat Gidi. in that first race, he was still fumbling with anti-lag and Tien had taken off on the hit. walked him down, tho...

and my question still stands....what makes Seafish's car such a monster from a roll? you would think that thing does 250 in the half the way its pulls and pulls.

What knocked out the R8 from going for KOTS? Was the final 3 wide and the top two qualifying speeds placed you in the final?

they decided to let the 2 customer-driven cars battle it out.

Congratulations UR, their drivers, and every other driver that lined up in the box. Every car in that video was a beast!

PS: Are those Kevin's lucky shorts or something? I think he had the same ones on last year lol.
