bp95gsx Report post Posted March 10, 2005 Coming home on the 80E we see a red 360 and instantly flip out!!! I can tell right away that it's an F1 shift and has an experienced driver behind the wheel. I know I'd crush it even on pump gas and stock fuel with the T66, but wanted to hear the awesome motor. Anyway, he down shifts and he gives me the 3 honks, I spool the Lex and keep it part throttle till I hit the middle of 4th and stand on the gas and walk away from it easily. His car sounded amazing next to the Lex with the open wastegate dumping 3 liters worth of air at his front left wheel. He agrees to pull over and BS with us. Cool ass guy. I have driven a 360 F1 Stradale before, but it was stock. This 360 has a Tubi exhaust, no cat's, and an intake, it sounded amazing. You Lambo guys might not like the way it sounds, but the exhaust note sounds waaay better outside the car than driving in it. When I stepped on the gas while he was already full throttle I left him like he was standing still. I part throttle next to him to make him feel good for a few seconds. hehehe. First of all it has a Toyota Supra engine which is capable of supporting 750 hp stock. With 10k you have a 1000hp engine. I have seen Lexus run in the 10's on the 1320 ! I just got back from the big Supra meet in Houston a couple weeks ago and Marko from Chicago was there with his Supra that made 1520RWHP through an AUTO!. sinfulmkiv Report post Posted July 28, 2005 2000 model.. must be nice! last supra i had was a 98 TT 6spd targa top.. which was BPU+++ and DAMN do i miss her! as for power output.. that is one of the main reasons i fell in love with the supra.. its amazing how powerful these engines are STOCK! stock bottom end will handle around 700RWHP like someone has mentioned.. but once you build the block then you can easily double that.. I remember when i raced a 355 berlinetta once down near my street.. man it sounded Bad ASS but too bad i walked him more than once.. his g/f liked it tho and wanted me to floor it past them a third time lol.. i have relocated to south africa now and im on the look out for a possible supra to purchase! once a supra owner , nothing else can compare! One of the guys on our forum had a joke about them: "Whats the difference between a 600RWHP Supra and a 1200RWHP Supra?" Answer= "They Both run 12s in the quarter". (by the way that joke was meant in no way to insult Supra owners or get anyones panties in a bunch! Because its one of the hottest cars to MOD because of the incredible numbers they put down. FAR more than 2% of supras put out 600hp. Its rediculously easy to hit that mark in those cars. Maybe if you did some research inbetween visits to olderwomen.com and your online pharmacies to refil your viagra and rogaine prescriptions you would know this.
