  1. I just wonder if K authorized importer in US has been told about that side B by K in Japan. When K sales rep was at some dealer, I asked Lambo sales rep to ask K rep questions about problems of their system. Those K reps never voluntarily gave those negative information about their system. I made situation that they have to confess about it, and what I heard were following two points. 1. Check engine light comes on continuously. 2. Valve is not strong enough to switch frequently. And they couldn't answer to these two questions. 1. Effect to ECU when keep driving on slient mode. 2. Negative effect to engine caused by silent mode with uncommon back pressure. 3. Loss of torque and horse powers. Again, I have no idea if they improved their system afterward. I am just telling you guys the FACT they had those answers as official comment from sales rep to authorized Lambo dealer. They were selling products already to customers at that time. BTW I also tried to get those info without identifying myself by educating Lambo sales rep hehe. I also have more terrible episodes about their parent company, which was big news in the past here in Japan. It was a HUGE news about lawsuits between them and customers. Their official bulletin board in Japan clearly says "Sorry, we do not accept any complaints or claims about troubles regarding ****** (parent company name)" Isn't it interesting?? They are still fighting with their past.
  2. Good products have nothing to hide from the public And they know how to tell customers openly what is bad about their products I love those manifacturers that have honest and open policy and I pay respects to them. I still don't know why many of them still try to hide their problems in this 21st-information-freeway-century. Now I am glad I didn't ask mods to close this thread
  3. BTW, For honor of Lamborghini, I know that the Galalrdo in Best Motoring video had Onishi Heat magic with ugly aero parts was SLOWER than stock Gallardo. That exhaust was the reason why Keiichi said it is not acceralating from 100mph or so. I talked him and he also said he thought it was werid that it can not catch up with F430. That O system, especially the one on that Gallarod sounded terrible. It really sucked. I saw that one at lambo dealer and sounded much hollower and unclear. It is so unfomfortable when you drive it. It also has lost much torque and HPs. VERY SLOW. One day, my partner found F430 on freeway in Osaka and they raced. He was driving my blue Galalrdo eGear with Larini sport cats and muffler. No other modificatoins. F430 was flooring on the straight and Blue Gallardo was following it. Gallardo was not even flooring. Gallardo caucht up with F430 easily and almost hit F430 from behind so he gave some ease on his right foot F430 was that slow compared to Gallardo on straight. I am not saying F430 is not a great car. Because I may buy one soon I just wanted to let you guys know that F430 is not that fast on straight. and.... GALLARDO ROCKS!!!
  4. Allan, if you are talking about only lambo systems, I say it is still F-ish to me. I prefer throaty bottom sound. I can not describe it but good exhaust (to me) makes me feel "accousticly pressured" when you accelarate on 1st gear. and also didn't feel that much performance difference or I would say it loses character of Lambo. Torque curve became more peaky and was not fun. I guess this is also just personal preference. Their ferrari systems also loses bottom end of frequency and too sharp. No performance improvement neither for me. Just like other Japanese systems. BTW, my favorite sound is DINAN M5 exhaust system.... That one has the best balance of loudness and acoustic pressure. Only for BMWs though I wouldn't say it would be good if they make systems for horses or bulls. Allan, was MS the best for you so far?
  5. I forgot to write about Murcie. I helped two of my Friends to switch their exhausts. One had K system and the other had TUBI. I didn't like K system on Murcie at all. It has lost all the deep and throaty bottom end of the exhaust sound of V12, on both of F1 and silent mode. Indeed, it was adding some high frequency to Murcie sound, but you can not even hear it when it is coming close to you when you are in the building. And don' forget, their system is too heavy to me haha. Tubi soudned like Tubi. I just prefer more Lambo-ish throaty V12 sound. I am talking not about loundness but about the thickness of the sound. It is hard to create a throaty and loud sound without being cheap like ricer. Tubi sounded too "light" for mean-lambo Muricielago. I settled with Larini for my Murcie, but it is just too loud even when it is idling.... It seems they are developing version 2 with chambers. I hope they make idling quieter. I personally think that sound is more lambo-ish. Just as my personal preference. It also gained enough power. You can feel it when you are climbing a slope. I have one slope I am clmbing almost 300 times a year and everytime I change my exhaust, I try that. Good systems climbs that slope withouht putting my foot on gas pedal. I call that slope a "exhaust performance challenge hill". haha Anyway, I just don't like the fact that those manufacturer hiding their performance and heat problem and claims its sceaming sound. Japanese manufacturer tend to do it because their customer don't complain that much. If they clealy state that "Our system screams but loses HP and Torque, and lits check engine. It's up to you" I admire their honesty, but they never do it. That's why I like this forum because all the members talk honestly about after market parts. Anyway, again, that's just my personal preference and not forcing anyone or not blaming any other products. I am just trying to share true numbers, impressions and results I had with those exhaust systems.
  6. mmmm difficult question. It depends on what you want. Regarding exhaust sound, Japanese people tend to prefer loud screaming sound even if it sounds cheap. I prefer throaty sound. I would say Gibson les paul compared to Fender telecaster in Guitar world. Tubi was relatively Ferrari-ish. Onishi heat magic had hollow sound and was terrible. Larini is throaty enough but not screaming enough compared to others. Regarding performance, Japanese exhaust system even don't give a s**t about it. They just modify exhaust sound. I have seen how they develop systems and it is totally different from what I see at Tubi or others in Europe. They even don't take it to track before they sell it sometimes. Some Japanese exhaust systems even requires DYI to avoid heat problems. What I like was Tubi or Larini for performance. As my PERSONAL preference, I settled with Larini for my Murcie and Galalrdo after TUBI. I have 20k total on two gallardos with Larini but no problem so far. Its sound is not my best yet, but I could feel the performance gain when I drive it. When I added test pipe to it, sound got less throaty but i sounds like fighter jet when you floor it. I wish I could add some more screaming taste to Larini but TUBI was too F-ish to me. I like TUBI for my Ferraris though!!! It is really difficult. There were only few system that gains both of good sound and good performance. So my answer is I wish I could more high tone with my Larini without losing its throaty tone... What do you guys think?
  7. As true numbers I have seen on dyno, one Diablo had only 440 hps only with K system. FYI.
  8. I thought K system is a sponsor of this forum or something because I see its name here a lot.
  9. I would like to know the opinions regarding performance of K system.
  10. Ugh, should I delete this thread? If I should, please do it, moderator.
  11. See! I have been telling you guys the truth about their system "without insulting their products that much" but no one heard me I am exhaust freak and have been driving horses and bulls with modified exhaust. Having moved to Japan few years ago, I have been seeing their system installed and also even DEVELOPED on my friend's cars. Especially I have heard complaints from the person who lend Gallardo to them to develop Gallardo system. I wouldn't talk about the details but I have known those problems for a year. Not only it loses torque or power, I have heard the sales guys of them came into official lambo dealer and stated clearly that it lits check engine and the vulve is not strong enough to keep working over thousands of miles. Those were answers to the Lambo sales guys regarding system from a person who came to sell their exhaust system to the dealer!!! I have seen, installed, heard and driven almost 5 or 6 exhaust system for each Lambo, Gallardo, Murcielago, and Diablo. If you would like to know what happened, I will tell you guys personally. This is the most I can do here for you guys. I own several car related business perosnally, however, I am shouting for my buddies here as one of Lambo fans. No offence to the members of Lambo-Power, who has dealership liscense in US. I also tried MS racing, Onishi heat magic, Tubi, and Larini on Gallardo and Murcielago.
  12. I really wonder if you guys really recommend Kreis-sieg....
