The question is, will they all be numbered like Murielago SVs and 50th Aventadors?

Aventador SVs weren't, it just said 1 of 600 and 1 of 500 on the plaques.

Rumor 5 coupes allocated and 100 worldwide - hoping they send out some credible information.

Dealing with the same thing GT3RS.2 - dealers should not get to order a spec when customers have deposits if the dealer did not take any deposits different story which allows those dealers to charge ADM and the mess begins.

No way there are only 185 cars AND they cost $585k. One of those numbers is definitely wrong.

Both are wrong - there are no allocations / prices in the system.

Given the timeline for Aventador expire - my guess est 500 coupes 500 roadsters before the new model.

URUS is selling double expected which limits the Huracan line not the Aventador production - I think someone just wanted a deposit :)

Could be, I suppose time will tell. Like you I'm just going off what my dealer told me. Dealers were told all the details of the SVJ approximately 6 days ago now which were production numbers and MSRP, as well as choosing from one pre-selected int/ext colorway. My dealer told me what was passed on to them by their rep so it will not be in the system yet - you can't even spec / see the car yet so nothing is would show up.

Logically Price seems too low to me if that is the amount made as it is very low, they could charge more.

Also manufacturers don’t usually provide demos or pre spec to dealer on very limited cars so this seems pretty unusual as they will 100% all be sold if there is only 185, the pre spec per dealer would be a massive % of the cars produced. Seems bonkers unless there is no options and it is just a colour choice on it, they would have missed a trick then as most cars will be ad Persenam at this level.

I agree completely - my only thought here is that they plan on having the first cars ready to sell days after it's introduced at Pebble. Makes you wonder if they are rushing that quickly - maybe the AV successor is coming sooner than we think?

There will be 185 made. All dealers got to choose one pre-made spec, (set interior and exterior) with most dealers only getting to order one or two customer specced cars. I got my allocation today, beyond stoked. Will be doing Blu Nethuns.

Congrats! Can't wait to see it :icon_thumleft:

Is Pebble public announcement for it, as in everyone gets to see it or is it a private showcase? My info might be outdated, but I heard they were planning around 300 Coupes and around 200 Roadsters. As far as public debut I was told Fall 2018, so I assumed October at Paris Motorshow.

Aventador replacement is at least 2 years off. My bet would be 2020 Geneva.

True.

Some reps share dealers share and appreciate your post - as I shared what was told too me.

I'm sure we will learn more about the JOTA before allocations are loaded into the system. Simply don't see Lambo not taking full advantage of a larger than 185 run seems too low for a company that is for profit.

I can’t see 185 at $585k either.... I’ll talk again to my dealer (have a deposit in as well) but previously was told a larger production number. Seems speculative for now.

185 Coupes and 100 something roadsters? That would make for 300ish total cars.

They still haven’t decided on the numbers, they are asking the dealers how many signed orders with deposits paid they hold.

I don’t know of the number but there is no way the final, rare, limited, highest performance A is $585k. My guess is $650k for coupe and close or north of $700k for roadster !

Yes, spoke with my brand manager and production numbers are still unknown. It will be the fastest production Lambo to date, no surprise. I’ve been told about 10% more in cost than current generation. I have a deposit in.

The SVJ looked insane under covers when I saw it at tjr factory but it's only worth buying if it's ultra rare. If they're going to build say a 1000 cars like the SV I would just wait for the replacement.

It’s still worth it if you like your cars to be raw, the replacement will be a hybrid (electric) V12 with a DCT (Thanks GOD!!!) so it’s guaranteed to be a very different car.

JOTA is going to set the tone for Lamborghini - basically a .2 SV using the JOTA name should reflect it's heritage

Thank Winkelmann for focussing on performance.

Lambo is not in the business to build collector cars , it is all about the money now . Guaranteed minimum 1000 units , pump them out while there is interest .

Depends on capacity as Urus orders are off the charts as are others their sales are up 10%.

The .2RS from Porsche is half or less of original RS production - there is only so much capacity and then the change over for hybrid line expect like issues with Lambo and it's much smaller assuming plant closing for summer limited production capacity and work force.

Also if they make too many JOTA's - who's going to buy the hybrid regardless of performance it's not about collectibility it's about branding.

If i recall correctly, when aventador came out, Lambo indicated they would not make more than 4000 units before replacement would be in place . I believe more than 8000 aventadors have left the factory so far , so much for branding . If it sells, milk it and sell as many as you can.

Reckon it will be 800-900 region, enough less than SV for them to say it’s really special and more limited but still lots so they can make money. If the orders are there i strongly think they will make lots

Selling cars over 7 years at 400k is one thing not sure how many they made - regardless at 6 7 800k track focus car better know your customer. Look at all the people here who ordered SV's and sold in a panic.

Carrera GT over produced - they were sitting on dealer showrooms everywhere and many more examples.

There isn't a dealer alive who wants take delivery of 2 let alone 10 cars at this level months and months away.

Lambo has to order parts inventory - they get this wrong and it's a lot of pain being cautious won't hurt them vs ...

They will make them in big numbers no doubt about it, the SV 1.0 has been very successful, Lamborghini isn’t silly, you will be paying more for this one and the numbers will be if not the same as SV 1.0 at least very close to it.

I know the SV J will be a cool car but it’s more of the same, thinking of the replacement, new design, V12, hybrid, DCT, new infotainment, etc. only 12 months after the SV J makes me think twice.

Agree - SV is plenty of car all around if it's 1000+ units I won't go thru the brain damage of SV to JOTA
