Drove about 300 miles in perfect spring weather in the midwest last couple of days.

Not a super car but handles great and accelerates quickly.

Looks like a fun drive! No complications with the car?

Actually the car performed perfectly.

i had a complete engine tear down and had everything rebuilt. I also added a new ignition system that revs freely up to 8000+rpms.

plus I have hotter cams and bigger Webber’s.

it sucks on gas but will be competitive with 348s and 355s

That's the way to do it! Sounds like a blast, glad to see cars getting driven and enjoyed. Any more trips planned with it?

Thanks

four hours of clay bar, polish, wax

Seems fairly quick with a clay bar. And a polish and wax? You're faster than I am with that stuff hahah

Chemical guys makes a clay bar that attaches to the rotary

speeds things up nice even though I work at the slow spin speed.

That makes a lot more sense.

I did the old fashioned clay bar by hand on a Mini Cooper and it took me like 8+ hours without wax or polish (by hand). So yeah, the power tools are where it's at!

Funny how easy it is to miss that there are two cars in these pics.

Also note the difference in side turn signal markers between the two....the smaller Euro light versus the bigger US. Mirror differences too.

I believe those are Euro vs. US differences, not GTB/GTS differences.

The one difference between GTB and GTS regardless of market is the GTS has the louvers behind the windows filled out more compared to the GTB.
