    Car everything. . . .
  1. So it's that time of year when I start to think, speak, sleep and eat this years Countach lunch. I've taken a different approach this year and sent out a survey to the owners asking what thier preferences are in terms of dates and format. This will be year number three that I'll be running the event and as ever, the objective is to create a fun time out for owners and to produce some great memories. The event will be based within the UK, but as ever, the invite extends to any owner wherever they happen to be upon this beautiful planet. Last years event got some great global exposure. With what Harry Metcalfe's YouTube channel, social media and even Road and Track and other web sites runnig. articles. Truly a spectacular show and opportunity to show the cars for the beautiful design they are. Please get in touch with me if you'd like more details. Cheers Rob
  2. Hi, I've no idea. All I can say is that we all had a great time driving on circuit.
  3. Our fab photographer Dan Pluck, posted this on Twitter today. Fab shot. Looking forward to seeing more when he's sort d through them.
  4. Hi all, last Sunday I hosted the 2nd Countach reunion lunch. We started at Rockingham race track and got some parade laps in. Then onto Stapleford Park hotel, for Sunday lunch. Expecting more pictures soon. But there is a cracking video Couple of pictures. Cheers Rob
  5. Shall look forward to seeing the end results and the process you go through. Are you doing anything with the paint? Rob
  6. I gave my QV it's monthly start up today. Backed it out of the garage let it warm up. Drove it back in. Those few feet of sat in the drivers seat at the controls. I could die happy. Yes there are faster cars that handle better. But the owners will know, that there is nothing else like it to drive. it's a full immersion experience and irrespective of a QV or sidedraft (I've owned both) its full on drama. If you get the opportunity to drive one, you'll understand what I mean. Rob
  7. Nice to see one driven in anger a bit! Good video. But as others have mentioned, the car is not 100% I'm interested to see what it makes at auction. It's RM and they tend to do better on sales than most of the other auction houses. Imho. Rob
  8. Hi all, as hopefully a lot of you will know, last year I organised a Countach Reunion lunch in the UK. This year, the event will run again and the date is: Sunday 12th June 2016 The format will be similar to the previous event, pre-meet venue followed by drive to a country house hotel for Sunday lunch. Last years inaugural event turned out to be a great day for all involved and for this year, I would like to get more numbers in attendance. Although the event is based in the UK, I am happy if our overseas friends would wish to attend. All that is required is a Countach of any variant ;-) This will be a closed event, owners and their passengers only. If you would like more details / information, then please PM me or email me at [email protected] Cheers Rob
  9. The Steelmate Tpms valve sensors seem to be the smallest and are available in a silver colour. The black ones of other vendors seem bigger. There are plenty of sensors that mount inside the wheel. Only downside is to remove and refit the tyres R
  10. I run mine at 38/40 Get yourself a Tyre pressure monitor system. Plenty on the bay of E. Wireless that plug into the cigarette socket and the valve sensors are quite small too. R
  11. Lovely! Many happy miles in your new lady.
  12. Hi and nothing needed except some petrol :-) No restrictions to drive the CT in UK or France. In fact, not aware of any restrictions in Europe. At least not yet. R
  13. Posted on other boards, but last weekend had a cheeky trip over to Reims and the odd glass of Champagne. Went to the old Reims Gueux circuit and met up with Pierre from Lambo club France and his rather beautiful dark blue 5000s. Did a quick hot lap around the circuit. Would have been very fast in its day I should think. Enjoy the pictures! Rob
  14. I'm guessing that if it went that quick, the price was too low. Lovely looking example.
