  1. Higher cabin pressure indeed. High alltitude flying means low pressure outside. The stiffness of the airframe makes it withstand a larger pressure difference meaning the inside pressure can be higher, making it feel more like sea-level (compare with climbing a mountain and feeling nauseous).
  2. So much effort in creating a unique spec and then go with a Porsche color?
  3. It would be interesting to see a wheel swap on this set. The busy SV-wheels work better on a roofless variant imo, and a Diones with Rossa Bia is a match made in heaven
  4. Looking at the Sesto, I wished they kept the "longitudinal" oriented front lights, giving the car a much more elegant-aggressive stance.
  5. A red, RHD (1 of 23) LP400 hammered at 950k euros in Paris yesterday, and a 25th went for 375k
  6. I think that also depends on the base vehicle used. Massive respect for the enthusiast 'sacrificing' a Miura to recreate the Jota. If it was scratch-built, I guess it would feel less real, kind of defeating the purpose of making a replica.
  7. By the rate they are selling them, it would seem logical to me that they produce 4000 units of the current Aventador (including maybe a limited run of SV with 'minor' cosmetic changes), and then show up with a facelifted model for another 4000 units.
  8. I'm not so sure (as my own experience is limited) flight time is a serious argument to prefer one airliner over another. Everyone knows time in the air can be largely influenced due to conditions. Since airlines win customers by the service they provide, they can save money by reducing fuel cost. In the future, speed will only decrease to be able to fly more economically. It is rumored next-generation airplanes will have less sweep (more straight wings) but longer ones, optimized for lower cruise speeds.
  9. That last Diablo Roadster has the (looks to be) OEM Diablo SVR rear bumpers. From a different angle it might look pretty cool.
  10. With 3 units produced, do you mean Minardi's with Lamborghini engines or in total? I remember seeing a Lamborghini-engined Venturi F1 in the car museum in Brussels.
  11. Does anybody have any more pictures of the Jarama S Bob Wallace Special? As much as I enjoy the newer stuff, I find the old magnificent ones so much more interesting
  12. No Jarama's? Only Lamborghini could bring out such a colourful display of supercars, imagine the boring row of all red (with maybe the adventurous yellow or black) a Ferrari anniversary would give.
  13. I saw it doing a couple of laps of Spa-Francorchamps a couple of years back. At that moment, it was already for sale by Autodromes. Incredibly humble guy who brought it there. Drove it of the truck and started taking pictures like the rest of us enthusiasts . Sadly lost all mine due to a crashed laptop...
  14. No way Kim will strike first. Since he canot provide his people with food, the only thing that keeps his regime in charge is the protection of the people from the evil enemy USA. Sending F-22s and B2s his way nicely kept that image of the war-mongering threatening Yankees in place. He will never wage a war that will inevitably wipe him out entirely. It's only a lose-lose situation, since I'm sure when it effectively comes to war, he will be able to kill thousands if not millions before they take him out.
  15. I would respect Vettel more if he came with the 'we all drive to win' explanation after the race. Saying sorry because he won, that is not what I want to hear from a champion. Remembering Villeneuve, I hope Webber keeps his cool.
