My 650S 10.3 @ 137.5 MPH all stock and race vs 918 Spyder...

that was the 918's fastest time, there were much quicker cars, we had a few cars in the 7's and 8's... :)

 

 

 

10.3 stock 650 spider is just ridiculous :headbang:

that 918 was moving, was that the fastest time of the day?

Are you hooking 1st gear on the Mclaren with stock tires? if not, should be high 9's with tires/tune

650S has been perfect, zero issues... ASS said the turbo's are maxed out with their tune so there might not be anything to gain. I ran 137.5 in the 650S vs 138.1 in the 12C with the tune, and my spider adds ~90 pounds over my 12C coupe.

 

I might add some high flow cats, my friend added them and I ran 10.3 @ 137.8 in his car later in the day when the weather wasn't as good when I made my pass. We need to do a roll race to see what the deal is.

How has the reliability been on the 650, Fikse? Also, do you think an AM.S tune is in your future?

yea, quickest stock car for sure, I was probably 2nd with the 10.30 run.... I ran 10.3x @ 137.8 in Dave's 650S that has the AWE cats and exhaust....

650s is nuts. 137+ is flying for a bone stock car.

 

I don't think there is anothing that isn't a hyper car that can compete stock for stock.

 

I wonder how an SV would stack up against a 650s...

That's the question......Huracan or 650s for 220K? I've been going back and forth for a bit now.

 

Huracan is still depreciating while the 650 is probably starting to bottom out (maybe?). The acceleration of the 650 sure is a HUGE plus given that it traps 135+ out of the box. No need to heavily modify it.

 

Huracan on the other hand will need a bolt on to make it feel adequate in the acceleration department, but it looks better (IMO)

 

I just need to drive both back to back...

we had 3 Huracans yesterday, none came close to the 650S..... I think the best was 10.9, I meant to drive one of em, but the day goes by so fast...

 

not an easy decision between the two, if you're into all out speed, awesome mid-range torque/power and winning, the 650S is the car... the Huracan electronics are great, the car sounds better, and it's still VERY fast....

 

hard top spider is plus for the 650S, since Huracan spiders will be a premium for a while...

 

I have a GoPro vid of my 650S walking by the Huracan on the drag strip, going up soon....

 

I would probably keep the McLaren over the Huracan as of now...

wow that 918..... [email protected] car. Insane. who would have thought that would be possible 20 years ago.

Or even 10 years ago. That car is so impressive.

 

The Macs are very fast and a good performance value, especially second hand with only a couple miles. Shockingly they continue to depreciate quickly even after the initial haircut. Hard to believe you can still lose your ass on a car you can buy brand new at 100k+ off.

 

I bet the 488 will accelerate similarly but I will be surprised if it can get out of the hole and et like that.

i would go with the Huracan all day! you can always make it faster but you cant make the 650 look as good as the H......
