azmurciev12 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 just got this is in love the car. can't really say much wrong about it. nice car to cruise around town with and quite comfortable and easy to drive. the steering feel and engine response are excellent. i just don't like that it's quite jerky when getting off from a complete stop. even in comfort mode, it starts in 1st gear so you have to be very very light on the gas to get off a stop smoothly. there's quite a lag on downshift and the brakes aren't as good as porsche's but very adequate. pretty happy with the car. seems like these past years AMG has brought out the fun in MB's. integrate Report post Posted January 6, 2012 IMHO, its hard to get excited about these cars in pictures but in person they look like great. What kind of setup do you have for parking your cars? It looks like their is no garage but a beautiful home.

azmurciev12 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 from where i'm standing to take the picture, i park 2 more cars but both don't have a roof over them just like the A6 on the background. on the other side of the house i have another garage that i park 3 (only 2 have a roof over them) cars. then i have some cars at my mom's house and in the office -that's how they all fit. i'll try to take a pic tomorrow of how things look like to give you guys an idea. i fit in the car very well. i'm a small guy at just 5'6". ingress/egress is just a little bit more difficult compared to other cars because of the high side sill but it's nothing bothersome. once your inside the car, it's a nice place to be in. i think the car i got has the perfect options i want: forged wheels, b&o sound and alcantara steering. here's the vid of my friend of us taking the car for a spin last night when i got it http://youtu.be/Jqm9pTQUnlI?hd=

FikseSTS Report post Posted January 6, 2012 very nice, maybe the dealer can adjust the clutch engagement points to smooth out the moving out from a dead stop, Nissan does it with the GT-R..... just got this is in love the car. can't really say much wrong about it. nice car to cruise around town with and quite comfortable and easy to drive. the steering feel and engine response are excellent. i just don't like that it's quite jerky when getting off from a complete stop. even in comfort mode, it starts in 1st gear so you have to be very very light on the gas to get off a stop smoothly. there's quite a lag on downshift and the brakes aren't as good as porsche's but very adequate. pretty happy with the car. seems like these past years AMG has brought out the fun in MB's. Modo Report post Posted January 6, 2012 very nice, maybe the dealer can adjust the clutch engagement points to smooth out the moving out from a dead stop, Nissan does it with the GT-R..... Its a known issue whaich they have never been able to figure out. If you let the car warm up the take offs in comfort mode are a little less jarring. capt_chaos Report post Posted January 7, 2012 Dang, I was hoping you were tall like me! (6'4") You will not fit. My Rugby manager is the same height and said he sat in one when he went to complain about his CLS63 AMG and no way could he use it for it anything other than a shoe. TheFilipinoStig Report post Posted January 7, 2012 Nice stable! And I found the SLS comfy as hell! Entry/Exit wasn't really a problem - just a bit different. Wouldn't be bad for a DD - just have to watch those doors!
