  1. Anyone tune their TT to run on e85 or e98? I did it for one of my other cars with positive HP gains but am not sure have a G would handle it? Specifically 2009+ cars with direct injection.
  2. I brought it back after putting 400 miles on it. It failed for the same reasons. "Monitor Catalyst Not Ready, Monitor Secondary Air Not Ready, Monitor O2 Not Ready." Looks like I'm headed to the black market;-)
  3. This is an interesting topic. I recently purchased a TT LP560 and it failed NY inspection because many of the systems were "not ready." It is running the stock computer w/o motec piggy back. The inspection shop seemed to think it was because the battery was recently unplugged and it takes several drives cycles before its ready again. I was trying to convince them those items were probably turned off purposely. Either way I agreed to take it back after some more driving. Will advise shortly how that turns out. Probably not so good I'm guessing.
  4. Thank you for the replies. I read the cam sensor issue in another thread also. As it ends up my mechanic ended up diagnosing it as a bad connection to the fuel pump. The car now runs well. I hope this thread can help people in the future.
  5. Half the cylinders on my 2004 Murci are not firing. Check engine light on both sides. It sat all winter and had a dead battery. I replaced the battery with a new one. Any idea what it could be?
  6. This is the way the racing exclusion reads in 9 out of 10 insurance policies: Exclusions: Loss to "your covered auto" or any "nonowned auto", located inside a facility designed for racing, for the purpose of: a. Competing in; or b. Practicing or preparing for; any prearranged or organized racing or speed contest. As you can see it is only addresses accidents off road/on a track.
  7. I've driven an '03 Arnage T for the last 2 years and put 10k trouble free miles on it. I think they are great cars. Yes the technology sucks but there is more to a car then tech. The most technologically advanced car right now is a prius. The interior is second to none even 10 years later. The car pulls like a freight train and the turbos will suck little children off the sidewalk. Stay away from the pre 2002s as they ALL have head gasket issues ($4k fix). To me the point of buying a Bentley is the interior so I don't know why anyone would buy an R? They do suffer some suspension issues because of their weight so if you are thinking about buying one see how they sit in the back and make sure to test drive it. If the ride is harsh it probably needs some work. New rear shocks are only about $1k but there could be other issues too. Brakes are off the bmw 7 series so they are cheap, which is good because you will go through them at 7klbs. The stereos sucks but its a relatively inexpensive fix. Check for cracked interior wood. Most have some cracks but if you are anal and want to fix it they will never match. Rear reclining seats and wine cooler are a nice option (I think '04+ option). They come with two umbrellas in the trunk. If you are missing one it doesnt looks right and a replacement may run you $1k.
