LPDADDY Report post Posted September 20, 2016 Old Porches have gone through the roof, 930's, 964's, 993's all seem to command huge prices and in the meanwhile, the slant nose has not appreciated at the same pace, even though it is one the rarest Porches out there. abolfaz Report post Posted September 20, 2016 Plenty of love here. Problem is that most of them for sale are fakes with square headlights! Nice writeup and photos of how the fakes were hacked together here: https://petergz.smugmug.com/Cars/Porsche/Go...rks/i-cBqqdbz/A

Robster Craws Report post Posted September 20, 2016 The 94' 3.6 Flachbau slantnose has gone through the roof. Jerry Seinfeld just sold for over a million http://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1994-pors...3-6-s-flachbau/ And this one for 1.1M http://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1994-pors...6-s-flachbau-2/ Just two years ago they were around $300k

Thoughts ? Not sure. I think they're gorgeous! A few months ago I was driving around and saw Snoop Dogg drive past me in a white 1980's 911 Turbo Slantnose Convertible. It was probably one of the rarest Porsches I've ever seen!

87-Countach Report post Posted September 20, 2016 All kinds of love here! A real 505 code 930 coupe is still a bucket list car for me. Sadly, current prices will keep it on that list. Still kicking my own nuts for not pulling the trigger on a triple red real 505 slant nose car about six years ago or so for $45K
VCR Report post Posted September 20, 2016 Problem is that most of them for sale are fakes with square headlights! My guess is a lot of people are not well-informed enough to tell the fakes from the real ones and don't want to make a pricey mistake so they'd rather avoid the model altogether. CHADW Report post Posted September 20, 2016 Agreed the 80's cars have been left behind. No idea why.
LuisGT3 Report post Posted September 21, 2016 Love the factory 505 cars. This one seems like a nice deal: (even with the higher mileage) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-car...tnose-sale.html
KSKS Report post Posted October 30, 2016 I think its only a matter of time before the prices of the slantnose catch up
Lambo Guy Report post Posted November 3, 2016 Gotta pay to play: https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/porsch...rbo/1989/421238 Having said that, I can't see how this isn't a $1M car in the next few years seeing how eye watering 993 prices have gotten lately.
