Anyone been?

An 'merican person raised this morning and now I am starting to look and think about it. I have always had the odd notion of going to some sort of festival in the US dressed like Michael Caine in Zulu like so.

Had tickets for '09 couldn't pull my self to do it. I have traveled all around America/Canada for festivals (for work) and I need a hotel room and to be clean. I can't do the desert for a week.... Just can't

Cappy, I don't get your statement there---"An 'merican person raised this morning..." what did you mean there?

I went 99-02, '10, '12. Back in 99-0x it was more interesting than the groups that think they have to have an agenda like aggressive anti-men lesbian only camps, the "tribes" themselves have become little more than what part of venice or santa monica you are from, and the gen-y drifters.

since the recession more international, UK, Austrailia, NZ, Africa, Europe, Asia, etc mix of people...which I like more...has become a more world event with more world art and culture...

And if you dont like dirt you can fly in and out every day, I help set up the airport (FAA- 88NV) which becomes the 3rd busiest airport in Nevada for a while..

The music has changed, the art car sound systems bigger with more remote parties on the deep playa...

This year was one of the windiest dustiest in the past 6 or 7 years...

What is the general vibe like the last few years?

Ive been to Bonaroo twice and Coachella once. All 3 times we have massive RV's for the 3 of us to stay in. I couldn't imagine doing that shit in the desert with all the dust, wind and heat. And camping out on top of that. Bonaroo is mid July in Tennessee and the whole place smells like feet by the 3rd day from all the filthy hippies....

What's it like at burning man? Why do you go and put up with the heat, sand, wind, and thousands of other people?

What's the music like? How many 'camps' are usually there that you can venture to? What are the women like?

I believe Instagram can assist with the women question

I am actually giving it some serious thought

I actually got into the vibe watching this... i think I could shut down the brain there.

Any questions hit me up.. here is a line of art cars waiting to get inspected and approved at DMV there are literally a couple thousand...

So its back again. Got a couple of ppl i know who're there, waiting for stories.

About 15years ago before it got so big I remember in Sacramento there were a few people who were treated for burns from burning man who got too high and too close to the fire.
