  1. thanks for the referral man ! much appreciated
  2. I noticed in the pads you imstalled that the brake sensor can not be used, is that correct ?
  3. I have an 04 Murci. Thanks for the info ! I'll read up
  4. Hi Guys, I am a newb to Lambo's. Only had mine 3 months and I am going to go ahead and do the brake work myself. Price: What was the best price anyone has ever found on rotors ? Pads ? Is $1500-1850 per rotor about correct ? Also, I purchased Brembo Pads, but I am noticing an inconsistency in their appearance. Attached is a lambo brake pad image. The area I circled is NOT consistent with the brembo pads I purchased. Is that circled area a sensor location ? Any tips on fluids, pads, and rotors would be much appreciated. Is there a specific fluid I must use ? What are some of the best bang for your buck on pads and rotors ?
  5. Thanks !! I thought this question was gonna set for a while , I am a newb, you guys know your stuff LOL I joined other forums, none come close to being as informative as this site. Good stuff
  6. I have the wires hanging in the same location but they are not connected to anything. I have a suspension warning light on the center console that will flash, but I had the suspension checked and all is working fine.
  7. Thanks guys, will do. I will update as soon as I can get underneath it. As of now the fluid has not returned and my car sets for days at a time sometimes. I will actually take it to the shop to get at minimum the pressure checked.
  8. I think you are correct. I would describe it almost exactly the way a motorcycle knocks when engaged into gear. I thought I heard it while going into second gear but I noticed that it only does it if I shift into second at very low rpm's (just going slow) which I suppose would be normal. getting onto a freeway and going from 1-2-3-4 in rapid succession......no knock LOL Thanks for the reply.
  9. To close them all the way I just hold the button down, then turn the ignition (but do not start it) and hold the button in until it goes all the way down. Only question is, how do I keep them up ? when I first got the car they were always in the half up position, and 1 hit of the button and they went all the way up and stayed up until I parked.....and when I parked they resumed to hlad open again. If I want them in the open position, is there a trick to kinda lock them open ? I cant find anything in the owner's manual on this LOL
  10. when you say "coolant" are you meaning the AC, or the radiator ? Stranded with no heat, is alot different than being just stranded LMAO Let's say it is coolant, is there an overflow valve or anything ? Reason I ask is because I had it serviced a month ago, and fluids were checked and properly filled as needed. No leaks were found than.....other than a rack and pinion "leak" (I suspect the bushing is just saturated though since I never see anything on my garage floor) I love this car.......and hate it at the same time HAHA
  11. It is very mild. In fact, I tried recording it and you can;t really hear it. My concern was that I swear I am faintly hearing it as I go into second. So hard to tell considering when traveling slow you hear every piece of gravel on the road kicking up LOL I am in NE Ohio, so I have to ship the car somewhere if I want it even looked at, let alone repaired LMAO
  12. I want to make sure I am specific enough, I have an automatic transmission, so when I hit the reverse button, or I hit the paddle shifter to go into 1rst gear, I hear it engage very clearly. Just a knock sound but goes right into gear.
  13. Hi Guys ! I am aware there is standard fluid color chart for typical vehicles, but is there one for Lamborghini's ? I am leaking a very light blue /almost clear oily fluid. It Appears it Came from The rear half of the car somewhere. Any Ideas ? It is Confirmed my rack and pinion has a slow leak BUT I seen the quarter sized spot near the rear half of the car.
  14. Hi Guys, I own an 04 Murci and since day 1 I noticed a mild "knock" sound as the engine engages in reverse. It also does it when I engage from neutral to first. It will NOT happen if I downshift from 2nd to first though. Transmission wise she seems to drive and shift smoothly (I always drive in sport mode). So if I am at a red light and sitting in neutral I will hear the knock once I go into first, after that everything is fine and normal. I do not feel any slipping gear, and aside from the knock noise driving is fine. Now I swear I am starting to hear it very quietly as I go from first to second LOL I want to be clear, going into reverse from neutral , or going into first from neutral - you clearly hear it knock as it engages. No question there. Any input or experience with this ?
