Clean sheet, it just looks like an old 911? Not sure I'm sold on a $500K+ new car that looks like an old 930?

I guess it depends on what the market value is for a vintage yellow bird.

Tough call, but the appeal is undeniable. For those of us who grew up on the '80s exotics, that look of the 911 will always be the ultimate. The 964 turbo I think looked a little better than the 993 turbo.

Props to RUF....they always keep the 911 hot.

Pretty bad ass restomod.. something off with the front bumper.. could be that they need to meet modern crash regulations.. but the original 2.4rs front looked better IMO

800k

wow that is nuts. you can probably duplicate this with a reputable shop for 1/3rd or less.

either way I would LOVE one!

Isn't it a ground up build with a carbon fiber chassis ? At the end of the day it still looks like an old beetle :icon_mrgreen:

This must be because of new law about making low volume series of modern continuity classic cars.

Price is nuts. I understand engineering costs. But dont fool your self that carbonfiber is even 1/20 as costly as most manufacturers want you to believe.

Don't worry guys, the 30 CTR's they are making are already spoken for. You won't have to buy one.

Considering a Singer (and I love Singer) will run you close to $600k with the good motor and options, this carbon frame car that weighs under 2700 lbs and has 700+ hp will always be worth whatever they sell it for. Ruf has been around doing great things in the Porsche world and they've earned the right to get $800k for their own car made with their own parts (albeit inspired by their original CTR from 30 years ago)
