Need some advice

Recommended Posts

I am looking at two gallardo's that I am interested in

I got to see this one in person and the dealer gave me a test ride. Now all I have to do is a ppi and that will cost me $500 which I will have done soon. Seeing the car in person I liked it a lot. Dealer got it at 29k miles and put 4k miles on it. Having a ppi done will tell me if there's any problems. My main concern is I feel the price is a bit high since the mileage is really high too. I was wondering what is a reasonable price this car should sell for and money that I should not offer more if I am to bargain with the dealer. What would you guys recommend? Any other comments/advice on the car please let me know. I also bought the carfax for this car and everything was good.

Car 2 is not local but in Texas but almost half the miles of first car and around the same price and seems to have a good ppi/maintenance records. I like car 2 as well and would like some recommendations if it's worth looking into and any other comments/advice about it.

Hi,

I think the yellow car has ugly wheels. I also think the front fender looks like a different shade than the door. If YOU like it, and it gets a good PPI, then I would spend between 90k for it. That is my opinion though.

I think the white car looks a lot nicer. If the miles are lower, and you can get an equal deal, and the PPI passes, then I would go that route.

No matter what you do, make sure you can get the blessing from a good PPI. Then, pull the trigger and enjoy.

Mike

  • 1 year later...

OP, the first car has been discussed on this forum before. I thought a guy from Michigan was thinking of buying it. I know I had thrown auction values on it at one time. The car was suspect if I recall. I remember the guy was trying to finance it or something. Maybe someone that sees this can link you with the original thread. Maybe you can search the forum by VIN number. I am not sure. I don't remember this car being a great example, and it is expensive. Those wheels, that dealership, it just doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

There is another car for sale on here, a Rosso Metis car with a manual. It is in perfect condition. Maybe chase that one?
