  1. A customer built 736 bhp DC Supercars Diablo Roadster replica, powered by a BMW V12 with quadruple turbos.
  2. The yellow Roadster and silver SV are GENUINE lambo's, the yellow one can be verified by it's registration plate. The silver one is known to many in the UK as having belonged to DC Supercars (UK kit car manufacturer). The silver Roadster is a replica. This begs the question: Can't you guys tell the difference between a real lambo and a replica? or Is lambo's quality the same to look at as a replica?, you make your mind up as to whether or not that standard is 'crap' or 'quality'!! All kidding aside it just goes to show how far replicas have come on, in the UK at least.
  3. I never said anything about owning 2 replica Diablos, you quote just shows how uneducated you must be! Try reading the quote again. By this you are insinuating that your wife fakes orgasms.....by using the word TOO? this may be the case for your wife!! It's true what they say about BOYS and there toys because you guys have the toys BUT still are very much BOYS. One day you MAY grow up into MEN!! By insulting someone who doesn't follow your opinon is just immature. Remember opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one!
  4. Opinions are just that, and just because one person, or one hundred, feels that they are correct doesn't make it so! Most people on this forum probably haven't owned a replica, I know, and don't want to. This means that there opinions are based on ..............well nothing really! I'm sorry if I upset the majority of forum members by writing this but I shouldn't have to change my opinion of replicas to suit others. I like both replicas and original Lambos!
  5. DC Supercars in the UK claim (and show a rolling road print out) that there countach replica puts out just 9bhp less than the earlier original countach! and has more ft/lb of torque! They use a V12 BMW 5.0 Litre engine on a purpose made chassis. There moulds ARE pulled from genuine Lambo's. Until you drive a replica it is easy to slag them off. I have owned both original and replicas and have to say the 'top' end of the kit car market is very well designed and thought out and handles very well, even though not a 'Lambo', drives and sound much the same. The biggest surprise to me was the resale value, nothing lost after 5 years of ownership!! not the same on my original Lambo!!!!. Having said all this my Diablo is MUCH faster than the replica Diablo I still own. Not trying to sway anybodys opinion on replicas, just thought I would share my experiences, as they are factual and not hearsay.
  6. They are no longer made! but one of the ferrari cars has the same ash tray, just chromed! You can respray it. Give eurospares in the UK a call, they know which ashtray, I can't remember which model it is.
  7. V12 BMW based countach replica! Got 9 bhp less than the real deal I understand!
  8. Even with the engines on show they are looking quite good as they are now fitting BMW V12 engines in them!
  9. Well good news for all the replica haters....Parallel Designs in the UK has gone bust! They are talking about it on these forums Parallel Designs has gone bust? Apparently they are late filing there accounts! Late filing there accounts!
  10. On an MR2????? WTF is the interior going to look like? Might look right from the outside but will look crap inside.
  11. So how does Lamborghini shut down the kit car manufacturers then? I don't get it! IF you are allowed to copy panels when the car is three years old how come these kit car manufacturers copying 7 year old Diablo's get shut down? If it's clearly not legal for them to copy the panels how can it be legal for a private individual to do the same? Surely the same laws would apply? Something seems wrong here!! I thought Lamborghini had something like a copy right to protect the shape of the car from being copied world wide!!
  12. Because I stated the obvious!! I am not a snob, just because I have a real Lambo! I think you will find all the kit car manufacturers have been shut down that were producing 'Lamborghini Kit Cars' !! I have read some of there site's before closure and have to say they were using custom built space frames as well as stretched fiero's, one even looked as though he had copied it from a real Diablo!! So they were at a stage whereby the chassis and body ressembled a diablo VERY closely....they were even putting in BMW V12 engines !! Now we have members making and willing to sell body panels the same as these manufacturers were? Don't you think Lamborghini will have something to say about that? Does this mean members from this forum are willing to purchase copy panels? Will it stop at buying from members or will they be buying from the Kit Manufacturers WHEN they re-appear?? Where will it stop? Won't this practice de-valve our cars in the long run? What are your thoughts?
