Miami Area TT Cars looking for a run

I have a good friend that just got a TT kit installed on his Gen 5 Viper and is looking for a TTG or TT Huracan to run to compare his build to. UGR stage 2 or 3 car would be good. I think a 1R and up will beat him relatively easily, but would be cool to see.

His car makes 1300-1360+rwhp on its top 2 settings.

PM me if you know of anyone that fits the bill.

I don't think there are any TT huracans down here. There is a stage 3 Lp570 TT orange one. His always out racing.

He's been trying to race that guy since he got his car back.

His thought process is that his viper beat a powerglide 1xxxrwhp Supra about a month or so ago that is supposed to be faster than the Baltic Supra that beat the orange UGR LP570.

Might be good to get a 1R car if there are any down here.

I'll race em from a dig in the Tesla....

I already tried to get him to race a GTR from a dig and it was a no. I'll ask him though.

Here's a video of his car.

So he is basically looking to cherry pick runs where he can win? Silly.

No-I said he would probably lose to a 1R car, but he would still race one. Heck he would probably race a 2R car as well for fun. I would tell him to come on here and ask himself, but he's in the keys on vacation with his family, and I've been on this forum for years so I figured what the hell let me ask.

Dig racing on the street is pretty much over. Puts too much stress on the drivetrain now that cars are basically 1500-2500 hp at the motor, plus the risk of losing control for both drivers.

says the cars that can't put the power down or launch.... plenty of very fast cars can do it....

How about this-Once you get your new FGT-Bring that car and your Tesla out. We film the FGT race 30-180 on Go pros, you film the Tesla 0-100 video on your go pros. You get rights to post the Tesla video-we get rights to post the FGT video.

Love that car! If I liked death traps aka vipers, I would have calvo do it for sure!

I raced that evo and beat it on pump gas at 1100hpish on my old TT lambo so based on that video run I'd say a stage 3 with 109 has with 1250hp would be about the same As the viper was on the 1250hp setting.

Viper and lambo weigh about the same, both have clutches to shift, I wouldn't expect much different speeds with the same 1250hp in both cars.

:iamwithstupid: 100% agreed-Me either. The 6th setting (1250rwhp) is under warranty as well which was more surprising to me. Thats a pretty big statement as a builder to warranty that kind of power on stock motor. i believe the Gen 5 shop car from this place is 2300+rwhp through a sequential shifter.

My buddy is also the impulse buyer kinda guy, so I can see him losing to a 1R and immediately sending his car back to texas for the motor to be fully built. :icon_mrgreen:

surely the warranty applies to the turbo kit and not the motor itself if he popped it

On the viper engine, I have been reliably informed that "the 8 litre V10 engine was fettled by Lamborghini engineers when Lamborghini was under Chrysler ownership". As quoted in Wikipedia : "Lamborghini engineers revamped Dodge's cast-iron block V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in aluminum alloy. Prototype blocks were cast by Lamborghini, at the time a Chrysler division"

Perhaps the viper tt builders can offer a warranty for 1250 rwhp as extra 3 litres to contribute power so engine not as stressed as a 1250 rwhp lambo engine with only 5 or 5.2 litres.

Of course the viper putting that power down on the ground from a standing start and through the gears is another question.

I have seen stage 3 UR TT beat a blown twin turbo big block monaro (Pontiac gto) with 1500 rwhp in the standing start half mile!!

cheers,

john
