  1. Can you post more details here? Have to register/log in to access the info link. 1/2 mile, 1 mile? Trap timing? Required safety gear? Cost? Thanks.
  2. Ford will be taking applications starting in 2016, so don't get too excited yet. No one knows the exact algorithm they will use to choose the lucky few, but if you have no history with Ford as a customer, I'm guessing you'll be SOL right off the bat. Once the customers have been selected and the car purchased directly through Ford, they will take delivery from a list of qualified dealers of the CUSTOMER'S choosing. Pretty neat concept. Will see how it all plays out IRL.
  3. Heard of them, don't know anything about them. Go with Shelby at Elite in Arkansas or Marv Rose in CenCal (fordgtforsale.com)
  4. So horrible. Infinitely worse than the Galpin abomination. And that's saying a lot.
  5. What?? How is that the fault of the medical professional? Why exactly are doctors so scared? Because the mentality fairly unique to America is that we have the right to pursue legal recourse for anything and everything. Blame the legal system and the litiginous society we live in, not the physicians.
  6. Stripes! Real, not render. Those of you going the Chicago Auto Show can get a first hand look.
  7. The 360 Modena was the benchmark for the 05/06 GT. So, they purchased one to thrash around the proving grounds and crushed every metric. Raj Nair explicitly said the the benchmarks for the new GT were the Speciale and 650S. I'm guessing they bought a few of those, too. I don't think they have any intention of aiming just for equivalent performance.
  8. A little interesting tidbit posted on Jalopnik. 'Phoenix' takes centerstage at NAIAS. Rising from the ashes, a successor to the GT40/FGT, perhaps? Still unclear if there will actually be a production vehicle at all. Maybe just a racecar? Who knows. All that is apparent is that Ford is keeping one hell of a secret. http://jalopnik.com/ford-is-bringing-phoen...t-wh-1678397229
  9. Great fracture reduction! Those are tough to get the alignment right. That should heal very well.
  10. Yikes. Perusing the thread to read about your Korean food exploits and saw that 3-D CT recon pic of your femur. I'm guessing you're not 80 years old, so a reverse obliquity intertrochanteric fracture is a somewhat unusual injury, esp from just a ground level fall. I assume you got some variation of this implant. Korea is actually very advanced in the field of orthopaedics, so I imagine you were probably in good hands. Good luck on the recovery!
  11. Wow. Envy. I has it. Congrats.
  12. C, I'm hoping the FGT will catch up to a CGT. My guess is the answer to both of our questions is probably no:/
  13. Driving to work this morning, came upon an Arancio Borealis?? Aventador. I thought the SL looked out of place in this podunk town, but sheesh! Was on a call with work so I couldn't snap a pic. Looked like a much older gentleman driving it. Don't suppose anyone knows of an orange Aventador in Visalia, CA?
  14. Some people (inexplicably) don't like it. Doors are cool but a pain in the ass, it's low, it's wide, it gets terrible gas mileage. But I still love it and will never sell it:)
