That's a pretty polarizing advertisement.

Perhaps the head of the advertising department would like to explain to current owners whether they are viewed as Apes or Neanderthals for purchasing the companies previous products?

Was hoping it would be more aggressive looking, guess it has to appeal to mass market.

Going to be a very hard ride on those profile tyres

They were probably thinking of conveying the message "evolution". That said though, if this is Lamborghini's way of evolving (diluting the brand by making a SUV for the masses), I'd rather see Lambo stopping right at the current Aventador SV / Huracan Performante era.

Those pics look more or less the production version of the Urus.

Seriously. Why did they even build the concept if this looks nothing like it. This looks as bland as can be and does nothing to continue the lineage of the Lamborghini brand. I don't even care if it has an Audi V8 TT. The front of it looks like a damn Kia!

As tradition on this board, everyone dislikes new reveal on first impressions, two months later we'll see things liking people saying "it's growing on me, I'm actually liking this etc.," then the people placing new orders will follow shortly after

hey! it's the LEXUS NX with a lambo badge! :icon_mrgreen:

Let's just steal a design and squish it a bit and put a Lambo badge on it.

What's your problem? The wheels look great! The lexus on top of those how ever... not so much.

They look great or familiar? :icon_mrgreen:

Fortis, latter. :D

I was expecting this.

Much improved, especially wheels department.

I dont neccessarily think it looks bad for SUV, but all SUV:s are bad imho.

And does it not dilute slightly what lambo stands for?

I hope it is only one this type of vehicle in 30years period so we can later see it as similar oddball as LM002 was.

I read it as lower sitting cars coming to stand more "upright" / taller. Hence no murci or aventador.

Perhaps not in this case. The gestation period for this car is way too long. We saw pics of the concept and some of us at the Grande Giro saw that in real. Then there was a revised design that was shown to a very selected few in CA 2.5yrs ago. That one was quite different but in the wrong sense. And now we see this. So Lambo themselves seem to be at a bit of a lost. And in between, Lambo also had a new boss and a new styling director. Being in speculation for so long, people expect a lot more than what we are seeing here. All the previous models that grew on the crowd over time are because they were "different" from the norm. This one is too much of a norm and obviously not "different" enough. They will still sell lots of them to first-time Lambo buyers, to some of the Cayenne crowd who wants to step up and/or to the significant half of the Lambo owners who want more utility than sports from the car. But unless it drives like an Italian exotic, it seems doubtful that the Lambo sports car owners will be lining up for one.

And what is it with this platform? Can they not have a great looking shell fit onto it? The Bentayga is plain ugly; the Urus is too bland and the Q7, while not bad and acceptable, isn't a homerun either.

every modification to the concept design is in the wrong direction

I really wanted Lambo to hit it out of the park with this SUV but the pics of the silver one look sooooo boring!

I drive a Lamborghini every single day and would love to add a modern Lambo SUV to my bull pen but at this point it's not happening.

I guess no verde Urus to match my verde LM002
