battery light came on while driving,replaced alternator took about 2 hours for removal and install,also replaced the positive cables from the left hand side to the battery and alternator ,positive cables were too old after more than 10 years.

anyone interested i have a 94 black on black with red piping diablo for sale,close to 30 k miles,custom exhaust,factory rear wing.last 1500 miles services that were done as follows,runs great.make offer front/rear diff serviced transfer case serviced. new belts. replaced alternator. mich tires 5000 miles on them. spark plugs o2 sensor air sensors. new alpine stereo,with cd changer new speakers and new subwoofer kn filter. sp polished intake tubes.

mike well the fan didnt come on again,so i checked the connectors to the fan and it was exactly what you described.thanks

well there was no power at the connector,applied direct power to fan fan came on,recheched the relays and removed them and reinserted now its working,so maybe it was a bad contact.
