NFL Final Four

We've got two more Sundays left (excluding Pro Bowl).

Early game: Patriots @ Broncos

Afternoon game: Cardinals @ Panthers

Who do you guys like?

I see the Patriots taking it in a close one based on the Denver defense figuring out a way to slow down that offense on the road, and maybe Peyton Manning not being fully healthy will not be as big of a liability as it normally is against Belichick since he won't be taking as many chances. However, it will limit him. Denver will have to find a way to run the ball to win, for sure.

The x-factor for this game is that New England hasn't done particularly well in Denver the last 10 years, and the Patriots have been under .500 when a game has been ref'd by Ed Hochuli, while the Broncos are undefeated. Weird stat, for sure.

As for the other game, Panthers have home field and looked great last week while the Cardinals looked somewhat flat at home. Still, I have this sense that the Cardinals will find a way to pull off the improbable much like they did in 2008. They will have to find a way to run the ball, and still be aggressive -- but if they can accomplish that, I can see it happening. Another epic NFC Championship game in the making.

The x-factor for this game is the run game for Arizona. I think it all hinges on that, as they go from scary offense to not so scary rather quick. I would also be curious to see how the Arizona defensive coordinator draws up his game plan against Cam Newton. Seattle normally has a better defense than Arizona, but Arizona might be a better matchup in this one.

There's also the weather, which if the snow is a real factor probably helps the Panthers a bit more for running game reasons.

Patriots vs. Cardinals for SB 50, I'll go with that.

Patriots vs Panthers.

I think Manning and Palmer will both blow it.

The Palmer part is an understatement. So many turnovers I can't tell if they are showing replays or if they're new turnovers lol. I feel bad for the guy!!

Was not expecting a blow out of AZ but not surprised

Lots of silly mistakes by the patriots that cost them the game but denver really showed up to play. Their defense was amazing and Payton not to bad either.

At this point I will be very surprised if Carolina does not win it all. They have been nothing short of amazing the entire season. And the way they are dominating the post season. It's a wrap.

Might have to get a ticket to SB50 to check this one out.

If only Patrick Peterson didn't muff that punt return and then Palmer giving the ball back after Peterson got that INT, it probably would have been a game.

Carolina probably still wins it.

They probably win the Super Bowl, although I can see Wade Phillips and that Denver defense making them earn every bit of it.

Hats off to that Denver defense that made a less than perfect Patriots offense look terrible. Brady rightly heard footsteps all day.

Palmer and the Cards were shockingly bad!

Carolina is amazing once they smell blood. It will be interesting to see that offense challenged like Denver will do. Hard to believe they don't win this year but they did drop one already.

Close. :icon_mrgreen:

Palmer was so uncharacteristically bad it wasn't believable as being just "off". I wouldn't be surprised if his name is included in the tennis match-fixing fiasco!
