I’ve had a FS and a GTC Speed...both have been very reliable. Both had the W12 motor which I liked. Good straight line speed and decent handling for a big car. Currently have a Ghost and the Bentley drives way better.

Let us know if you need a good salesman/dealer.

Good cars, I had one, my dad has had a hundred it seems. The new V8 is even really good. Buy in warranty.

I’ve got one GT Speed and I know a few people with older ones, they are pretty bomb proof personally I wouldn’t worry about warranty, there are loads for sale with over 100,000 miles and still going strong.

It’s a fast useable car but not that much fun, considering the power it’s got it is very relaxed to drive. Great every days car, like a faster better handling Range Rover

The major issue with it is they depreciate terribly until they are worth virtually nothing no matter the age of it. I will never buy another new one.

Obviously if it’s a newish car bare in mind the new model but not really on stream yet which will hurt the newish stuff if it hasn’t already.

Older ones are a lot of car for your money, fuel economy I think is pretty good all things considered about half of what an Aventador burns! Sitting in traffic it seems to use the same as driving at 100 mph though!

I had 2 GT’s , both V12 and they are very thirsty . No matter where I drove it was half a tank of gas so filling up every 2 days was a pain and main reason why sold my last one . Otherwise , the car is bulletproof . If I was to buy another one , I would get the V8

:iamwithstupid: Same experience. Have had 2 GTs, both awesome cars but huge guzzlers. Had a few creaks but Bentley service is top notch, they don't screw around and understand the clientele.

I'd never owned one but lived with 2 over the years; one for 10 days, the other for 2 weeks. The earlier one had some minor electrical gremlins but was permanently fixed under warranty in a single visit to the dealership. The later one was bullet-proof. But I echo the comments on its insatiable thirst; as a DD, it's one heavy drinker! Very nice coach work but in all honesty, it's more German trying very hard to mimic the British on the wood and leather and they fell just slightly short on the mark.

Do you like the Spur better than the Ghost?

Driveability wise, absolutely. The Ghost feels like a yacht - which is fine if you fine if you have a driver. The Bentley just feels way tighter. But I love to sit in the back of the Ghost with my wife, as we are being driven to dinner.

To drive, or to be driven...that is the question.

It is a little better if you drop the suspension.

You ride a horse, but ride in a carriage.
