MPG Check Please

Hello All,

 

Just doing a quick check to see what kind of MPG you guys are getting on normal/spirited drives? I just burned through nearly a full tank of gas and got like 80 miles out of ONE tank of fuel. Est. to be like 5-6 mpg!!

I recommend trying it 3 or 4 more times just to confirm. If you still care, wtf is wrong with you?

 

700hp 6.5L motor + drive like an asshole = no shit the mileage sucks

 

Strada will go over 300 if you are very gentle, sport or corsa more like 130 - 150 and if you are hammering it then more like 70-90 for a tank

 

 

Got a valve controller so i can drive in strada on longer trips as it was getting ridiculous with fuel stops but i want noise most of the time when I'm in that car.

 

By comparison taken out together so same drive my Bentley speed 635hp V12 version uses half what the big A uses and the Huracan used 1/3, SV is truly silly on fuel

 

 

 

I dream of the days of enough open road to get the low figures its totally worth it, but pretty rare as everywhere is so busy now

The fuel consumption is ridiculous, I am getting the same figures as you guys, the interesting thing is for me, there is this stretch of road which I like, in the middle of nowhere few twisty roads with lots of bends the whole run is about 15 to 20 km, I can literally burn 60% of the tank it that distance.

 

First time it happened to me a pulled over because I thought that there was a hole in the tank.

 

Now I have to be careful where and how I run because I must make sure that I can get to a gas station.

The reason I am asking here is when I got my SV Roadster it had a full tank of gas from the dealer. The dash said I was good for 296 miles, great I thought. But, as I drove and was having a great time.....I noticed the gas gauge falling so fast that I wasn't sure why. Gas gauge and dash distance to empty readout, vs real life is off by so much that I thought this could not be right. Well, I have had other V12 cars, but man...guess this V12 drinks a lot more than other V12s out there.

 

Thanks again for your input here. At least I guess my car seems "normal". Well, heck with it, just Gas up and enjoy now I know this is the norm.

I got about 5mpg first tank, and around 6 Or 7 on the 2nd tank. I sold the car befor I used all of the 2nd tank. I'm sure it's better after its broken in, I'm actually curious myself. My f12 gets 7.5 average, less than 7 if I push it. FWIW
