I saw the car last night and was very impressed with the look of the car as well as the specification. Unfortunately picture taking was not allowed. There are definitely some elements of other vehicle designs in the shape, but it comes together as an overall cohesive design. I will be getting one for sure.

McLaren quoted a 1/4 mile time of 10.3 seconds and a 0-120 mph of 7.2 seconds.

just in..

Our new supercar will be powered by an engine that’s not only a technical triumph but also a work of art.

The twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 will help the Super Series, which will be unveiled to the world at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 7, to raise the limits of supercar performance.

With more power and torque than its predecessor the engine will power the Super Series from standstill to 124mph (200km/h) in just 7.8 seconds – and on to cover a quarter mile in 10.3 seconds.

It’s an outstanding engine powering an exceptional supercar,’ said Super Series Vehicle Line Director Haydn Baker. ‘Power, torque and throttle response are all significantly enhanced compared to the first-generation Super Series, yet with fuel efficiency and emissions also notably improved.’

The new engine – adorned with McLaren Speedmark logo – is such a beautiful piece of engineering design it is illuminated in red whenever the doors are unlocked. A piece of pure theatre visible through the cooling ducts above the engine bay.

In addition to performance and aesthetics, the engine and exhaust have been tuned to deliver a rich, soulful sound that encourages you to explore the full rev range before every gear change.

I want the LT version of this car.

I know it won't be as pretty as the P1 but it will be a better car.

:iamwithstupid:

it looks better IMO but very similiar to the 570 which I'm not a fan of. but (soft lines)

i bet the LT version will be insane!

looks better than I thought! very pagani, but not crazy about the front end.

I'm sure it will be a rocket, but I still feel good about the performante over everything else atleast for now :icon_super:

Those headlights sockets look terrible, they ruin the design for me, other than that I really like the car, I wouldn't look at a 488 twice if the 720S was next to it, I can't wait to see the LT version of this car.

I wouldn't mind getting a McLaren at some point.

The back looks really nice, like a merging of the 675LT and Koenigsegg Regera. The front is HIDEOUS. Completely ruins the car for me. I hope the 675LT -type version upgrades the front end.

The technology is great, the performance will be undoubtedly breathtaking , but it looks so bland and sterile. Aerodynamics have taken over car design, function over beauty.

^that is a good thing. Made the F1 so great.

My eyes can't get used to the sockets, almost need to keep the headlights on at all times, lol. That said, haven't seen it in person. This car would look tremendous in darker colors to hide the socket

agree 100%, if they made the front a little more aggressive w/o the eye sockets it could have been a game changer IMO
