  1. Jeff, Thanks so much for the reply. You hit the nail right on the head. The window is off the lift and to push it all the way up was not easy and it still up after a 20 mle drive. Now to get the parts and the lube.
  2. Well, here we are a year later and it finally happened. The window seems like it's off the track, i can hear the mechanism go up and down. I was able to pull the window within about a 1/4 from the top and it held nicely from Boca Raton to WPB. Since the garage has no air conditioning i don't know when i'll get to it but i will post the findings and the remedy. Peace
  3. Another thing i noticed is that it's much harder to fill when it's very low on gas. After about 4 or 5 gallons i can fill up a little quicker. Also as mentioned above it depends on the pump. There is one pump at a local gas station that i can fill up without a problem. But it's only that particular pump (or nozzle), because when i do use another at that same station it back to click, click,....
  4. I'll take a stab at it: 'How could you sell that car and at that price.'
  5. A friend gets a ticket for no front plate almost every week. No matter what he says he gets written up 90% of the time. Depends on what mood Mr. Doright is in i guess.
  6. Have had a similar problem for 4 years now. They become slow about 3/4 of the way up, they slow down and back to normal. If i put the door up and then close the window no problem except on humid days. What i do to make it easier is wax the window. Then they'll zoom up and down until the wax wears off. In NY on humid days they are extremely slow and sometimes i have to manually help them up. Perhaps the rubber swells and constricts the window. I also have tinted windows so the film maybe a factor also. Car is currently in florida. We'll see how the humidity affects them down there. I have had replacement parts for e few years now but 'if it ain't completely broke i ain't gonna fix it.' Meantime try the wax trick and see how that works.
  7. That's exactly my next adventure, but keep the Diablo don't get rid of it. As far as the noise, i get it too when it's cold. But check the fluids in the tranny and rear.
  8. Stunning. Love the color. The Diablo as a whole seems to be doing very well in the resale market.
  9. Not too bad. It something like one wheel a month. I've done worse.
  10. Have the wheels off and want to check all these bolts. Anyone have the torque spec for the little bolts? There are 40 per wheel. that's a lot of torque-ing. TIA
  11. Looked high and low and no success . I'm going to take a wild guess and say if we want to upgrade our computer program we have to do it ourselves. Guess it comes down to dollars and cents. It would probably be too expensive. Too bad as this mod should be good for some nice ponies.
  12. Car does look very familiar. I'll do some calling and find out if its the one i knew. as far as the wheels they look a little bit different than mine which were brought into the 99MY, but it could be the angle at which the pics were taken. If any one can get the VIN please post.
  13. Anyone here do a little computer reprogramming?? If yes from whom? Thanks Tweaking the Diablo
