  1. It is running on motec boost by gear. So thats part of the reason its so smooth. With this car you wouldnt want 700 hp in first gear, but it builds with the higher gears!
  2. Car makes 700 WHP or just above that. Thats about perfect for a 2WD car thats as light an nimble as this. The gallardo could handle more due to 4WD, I know Kevin is working on a built engine version of this, and trust me when its done he will get this one back!

  4. Hey guys, thought I would give everyone an update. I purchased the UGR white 458 from Kevin and the boys. He really didn't want to sell it, but I managed to persuade him Anyways I wanted to let you all know how it really is as not much has been written about it or seen of it other than the main UGR video. My God its incredible!!! It is absolutely amazing. First, the 458 is SOOO much better than the 430, Scuderia, or any Ferrari 8 cylinder before it in my opinion. The turbos however turn it into everything it should be. The sound of the car with the UGR built exhaust is incredible, and to hear the whine of the turbos makes it that much better. I can tell you that if you were to own a 458, and you spent the 59k on this kit, you wont think about the money whatsoever, it wont even begin to cross your mind. It will transform your car into something incredible. I always loved the work Kevin and the UGR guys did, I had a Superleggera TT, but the 458 is way better. The noise is pure Ferrari sound, added with a hint of Turbo whine Perfection!!! The driveability is easily as good as stock, it doesn't miss a beat. From the line driving normally it doesn't hick-up or do anything that some modded cars do. It drives away just like stock, no worries there. The power is very smooth, and when it comes on its just incredible. The Gallardos are great, but trust me as for a daily driving beast, this is the car, and trust me I will daily drive it in the summertime! I have driven it constantly for the past 2 days, albeit in 25 degree temps, the car has absolutely been incredible. My girlfriend who normally knows nothing about cars was shocked at how smooth this car drives. It really does, its incredible. I would suggest all 458 owners give yourself a little Christmas present and get this done. Trust me, you wont regret it!
  5. I went with the stage 2 kit, and it has built internals with the big boy turbo set-up. Its amazing. Just got back from driving it again, and the noise really is intoxicating!
  6. Hello All, I wanted to quickly do somewhat of a write up before I head off for the Indy 500 and get too busy to write about my latest Greatest Lambo! As most of you may or may not know, my 08 SuperG went off to Kevin and the boys at Underground Racing, and I received the car back home about one week ago. Unfortunately I have been out of time part of this week, but I have had 2 days of real driving, and I am absolutely hooked. I have owned or driven almost everything. I have been in anything from a Smart car to an IndyCar, and long story short, the Underground Racing Gallardo is just about as thrilling as it gets! I live to wake up everyday that I can step out and fire up this beast, the noise justifies the cost alone! Anyway, so I jumped in the car the first time, drove it down the street simply to my house. At only 1/4 throttle at most, i pull the paddle for a nice smooth shift. To my surprise I hear a little turbo whine, and a little wastegate release. It is fantastic. I was not expecting those beautiful car noises at such low throttle angles, but it is absolutely music to my ear. I then fire it back up and take her out for a little Italian tune-up! My brother and I go blasting through the countryside. Driveability is as good as stock, but again the noise just doesn't compare. I come to a complete stand still, put the car in sport mode, traction control off, and let her rip!!! Off she goes, and let me tell you, the acceleration g's is incredible. I went 0-150 in literally a matter of only a few seconds, it was amazing. Then i looked down to realize I was only in the LOW boost setting! So as would be expected I click it over, and give it another shot. Again acceleration was amazing. It was noticeably faster, and the thrill was amazing. I found myself taking every corner, and on the exits i couldn't resist but give her full throttle! We got home, stood out back of the car with the engine cover up, and really looked at how amazing the build quality is. If you ever look at stock exhaust systems etc, you probably all notice that the pipes aren't always equal length, that the welds look somewhat crappy, and that the fit and finish isn't exactly spot on. Let me tell you, that everything here is spot on. The pipes line up absolutely perfect, the angles in which they are cut matches perfectly with the radius of the rear bumper, and the polish on all the pipes looks stunning. I drove my car all day today, and as far as start up, running from cold engine temps to hot, it doesn't miss a beat. She cruises fantastically on the freeway, and yet again the constant exhaust note, and turbo whine is addicting. It is absolutely the most beautiful music to my ears! For anyone considering this kit, you must must must do it. The build quality is fantastic, and the car is what it originally should have been. It makes any other road car seem like a slug, this car is amazing. If anyone has any interest and has some questions, please feel free to PM me on here. Thanks so much!

  8. I think shes getting on a truck to come home tomorrow. I cannot wait, I know she made a ton of HP, so I cant wait to unleash the fury on New Albany haha. Should be great for a daily driver!!!
  9. I will be in Indy, and you will probably find my SL there. I am going to try and redo the pinstripe, I tend to like it when its right because it differentiates from the tire to wheel, it creates a gap. I also am going to paint the calipers body color, that will make it certainly stand out from the black wheels. As I said, I will lower it, and do the bumper, but as some have said the gap is what concerns me the most. That would bug the hell out of me! The car has Tecnocraft seats, and I want to get the padding on the seats stitched to look like factory. That will be badass as well! Thanks for all the comments guys!!!!
  10. Lowering is the first thing on the list when it gets home I also have a new LP-560 bumper to put on, we will see when that gets done!
  11. Thanks for all the comments guys, and honestly thanks to Kevin and the guys at UGR!!!! The car looks amazing, and i cant wait to get it home. On another note, I agree, first time i have seen the wheels on the car, and the pin stripe i did to match the orange, but lets be honest its not even close. Ben from WB will be getting a call right away. Thats not what I paid for! Anyway, I cannot wait to get it home, and I will be sure to tell everyone what I think. You will also find this car in magazines and TV shows everywhere coming up soon!!!!!

  13. Guys, I do not have my car back yet, but the facts are that I sent my car due to prior work that Kevin has done for a few friends of mine, and they have received their cars. Not to mention the fact I have been down with them to the shop a few times, and have driven the car for Autoweek. I would not say anything I didn't firmly believe in, and due to past experience I chose UGR. Look its a big investment for anyone to send a car to be twin turbo'd. I trust and believe in Kev and the guys at UGR. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you feel so inclined. Thanks guys!
