  1. did you guys end up going, I saw Luis post up some times and pics on 6speed but he didnt mention Allans SLR and I didnt see that teal blue benz anywhere
  2. i have no confirmation but i did some digging when i saw the 722 wheels, i figured it had to be a japanese wheel by its design, then i stumbled upon this on McLarens site: http://www.mclaren.com/partners/enkei.php plus the wheels look to similar to these not to be enkeis but what do I know just speculation
  3. i never race anyone light to light on the street its always from a roll, contrary to popular belief its the safest way to run with DR's and in dyno mode, i personally would never run down the strip with ESP off since one mistake can put you in the wall and running with ESP on is like sex with a condom
  4. At the track I always run in dyno mode, the ESP modulation is used if you want to run street tires
  5. they should be real cheap they are made by enkei
  6. Jude cmon man heres your chance for a 10sec time slip
  7. you shouldnt be able to hook up stock let alone modded, you will make your time at the strip more enjoyable with some stickier tires in my opinion. For running on street tires launch at idle with ESP ON, the car will bog for a second as the engine and brakes do their thing, as soon as the car begins to move forward and you feel the power come back on progressively (40ish mph) immediately switch the ESP OFF
  8. It will be quicker starting in first.
  9. JT to the rescue, I think I left my credit card at Cibos, havent seen it since.
  10. Allan, whose software is Alex using for your ECU? Jay
  11. i assume you are replacing the pumps as a fail safe measure. I bet with the SLR IC cores the IAT's stay within spec, once the boost is raised may be another question but the cores are waaaaay more efficient as compare the the other 55k motors.
  12. i would be interested in participating in this event depending on where it is held........
  13. I think dangerously lean is overstating it a bit, but yes the ECU need an adaptation period.
