The situation IS unfortunate. However, Dan will return with "BIGGER and BETTER". IMO, Aventador, McLaren possibly an Murcielago SV? Very grateful he or other were not injured. Honestly, he is an extremely SPIRITED driver something was bound to happen. It takes great character to finish the day with the 6.0 and not mourn the passing of a legend. (Personally, I would have borrowed the Gallardo or the R8 just in case) . Yes, he works his "A$$-Off" as his neighbors would have most certainly agreed. Mowing lawns and taking manes lol. He has track insurance coverage. The issue will be whether they squirm out of a "payout" or try and justify a compromised, BBQ'd car as "repairable".

IMO... I would distance myself from all '04 Gallardo. Most were press release or intro cars. May explain the "few"extra miles and the hesitation for PPI. Just a thought......

Driving through the 10 FREEWAY on the way to Florida from Cali. The initial attempt was to make it in a weekend, 2 days. Halfway through Texas; speed-zone 55MPH, I decided I would not make it in my projected time frame. I speed..... I mean "The car was Driven" 198 MPH through the curves. Caught the expression of a oncoming Texan Trooper as I destroyed his L.I.D.A.R. Cannon. In my rear view mirror I see him PLOW down the DIVIDING FREEWAY RAIL. I rocket through the windy curves and decide it's not worth my life or my fiancé' trying to escape. After 5mi or so, I pullover and STOP. 3 mins later he and friends... PULL UP. GUNS DRAWN. Trooper: [ Walks up to the vehicle ] Throw your keys OUT the window your going to Jail. Trooper: The "F**K you doing driving in MY STATE like that? Do I come to your home and DRIVE LIKE THAT? Trooper Unit: [ Loud-speaker ] Hands out the window and get out of the vehicle NOW M*****F**K**. Me: I can't. Trooper: NOW NOW Me: Hey, Captain America, I can not. S E A T B E L T. Troopers: [ LAUGHING THEIR ASS OFF ] Well, take your seatbelt OFF then get out the F****** CAR. Afterwards, roughed up a bit. $5,000 fine. Judge wanted to dismiss all chargers. D.A., Not so much. Convinced the commissioner to stick with the chargers. Fine+Court Fees and a video you would't believe.
