  1. Sorry guy's, it turns out the TUBI was only $5800 plus labor so my friend was very wrong when he told me that. It is still for sale but keep in mind brand new it was $5800. I thought that was extremely expensive for a exhaust! Cheers James Simpson
  2. In my original post I said the TUBI was only a few weeks old. It's actually a year or two old. But on a car that hardly ever gets driven. Not sure why it's so expensive, probably cause he got it through the local Bentley dealer who rapes customers.
  3. I would suggest a Rolex as well. I currentley have a Explorer II stainless steel with black face, also comes with a white face but I think the black looks much much better. When the person I got this watch from bought it he paid $7800 plus taxes for it and that was over 10 years ago. The watch is still in their line-up and last I checked they're were selling for $6800 plus taxes, keep in mind that's brand new so i'm sure you could get one in your price range. Here's my exact watch: http://www.lbimage.com/images/watches/role...perpetual/2.jpg And here it is with the white face: http://www.aandewatches.com/RMEX203-face.jpg Someone owes me money so I think i'm also going to be getting a new watch! Either the all-gold Breitling Emergency or cash and his titanium Breitling Emergency. Most likely the cash and the titanium as i'm not a gold watch kind of guy, but if I have to take it then i'll certainly wear it for a while! Let us know what you get. Cheers James Simpson
  4. Beautiful car and best of luck with the sale! cheers James Simpson
  5. A friends client recentley purchased a $18,000 TUBI exhaust for his Bentley continental GT however his wife HATES it! So i've been asked to sell it. The price was apparentley $16,000 plus taxes. Not too long ago, a matter of weeks. I am looking for offers but please keep in mind your offer must include your O.E.M exhaust as i'll need to replace the TUBI with it. Thanks James Simpson please PM me or email me at [email protected]
  6. Wow that's hands down the nicest SLR i've ever seen! The one i'm getting for my friend is going to look similar when he's done with it hopefully.
  7. I hear ya! But also even if MB did offer extended warranty's they will NOT put one on a u.s car...NO cdn dealer will put a extended warranty on a u.s imported car.
  8. The deal on the Diablo has gone through at D&M finally so I no longer need a 6.0 Diablo. However I have received quite a few PM's about SLR's for sale and they are all very interesting so keep them coming please. Thanks James Simpson
  9. Hi Guy's and Gal's. I'm looking for a 2001 Lamborghini Dialbo 6.0. We had a deposit on the black/cream one owner car at D&M motorsports but during the P.P.I and my clients personal inspection we discovered that the front two shocks were leaking badly and needed replacing($7000+) as well as the left bank was leaking oil and a few other bits and bobs. The seller did give me a very nice 'wholesale' price but not enough to justify $7000+ right off the bat plus whatever is wrong with the engine which we all know can get way way up there. So I've advised him to past and would really like to get him something in his driveway for his birthday on may 25th. Colour preferences are red then blue then yellow then black. Now my very best client/friend who is also a member here has been talking about getting a SLR for a while now and I recentley sold his 2006 H1 Alpha last week and told him I would do my very best in having a SLR in his driveway on his return from Europe on the 14th of May. Colour preferences are black/red then black/black and if we have to silver/red. I've just emailed a member here about his gunmetal/red car which I think my client would like as the Murcie roadster I got him is grey/red and black. If anyone knows or has anything that you think/feel might work for me please just let me know! According to the rules I cannot post any company info so if you private message me it goes straight to my email so i'll be able to respond immediately. Thanks James Simpson
  10. I do! I just happened to be emailed one this morning but a dealer friend of mine! I've already forwarded you the pics/info but for some reason some people's email's block my emails as spam so if you don't see it in the next 5 minutes check your junk folder. It will be from james@simpsonautomotiveconsulting. There are about 10 pics attached. Thanks James Simpson
  11. I don't know why ya just don't call me! Even if a u.s SLR does have a extended warranty on it it will not be valid here last I heard OR we import a u.s SLR Benz will NOT extend the warranty simply because it's a u.s vehicle. crappy asses they are!
  12. As long as it checks out and it doesn't have more then 2-3 owners. I'll give you $140,000 for your 6.0. Thanks James Simpson
  13. Ben, thanks so much! I knew there had to be some dealers down there but nothing was showing up on the typical search engines. Thanks! James Simpson
  14. I asked if there was anywhere in Vegas someone could go and look at some cars for sale as nothing was showing up through the usual methods. He is not only buying in Vegas! he is there on business and we thought while there he might as well take a look at any prospect cars. Thanks for the link to the yellow one. It's winter now so we technically have until next march(ish) to find a car but he is prepared to buy now if the right car is out there now.
  15. Yes i have lot's and lot's of experience doing this, www.simpsonautomotiveconsulting.com (mod please delete if you wish) and this is what I do for a living. I have around 100 cars I've personally done not including the 10-20/weekly we imported through North York Chrysler luxury Division which is now Luxury Sports and Imports.(site needs to be updated to include the cars from this summer)(2nd summer on my own) I NEVER call ANY dealer when it comes to importing a car other then the u.s dealer that the car is being bought from. They tell you nothing but lies. Eg., Grand Touring charging $20,000 for a $758 bumper!! This is why people keep hearing different things and everyones so confused. DO NOT listen to what ANY cdn dealer has to say about importing!!! again the ONLY people who have ANY say in what comes in or out is TRANSPORT CANADA AND THE RIV. Yes really about the 6.0, it' was imported for the owner of modified luxury and exotics and then last I heard traded back in through a dealer in Arizona for something else.(can't remember) I will call the r.i.v again but i'm pretty sure i'll hear the same thing they told me a few weeks ago. Nothing I do is ever done through any back doors and is done with the help of knowledgable customs brokers and reputable shipping companies. Cheers! James Simpson p.s it also say's the same thing about importing Ferrari's but even the R.I.V will tell you that you don't have to go through a cdn dealer IF you can get the proper doc's then everything is 100% legal.
