They show it simultaneously in 200 countries. If I had to guess, Canada will be easily included into that.

Canada always gets left out.

I've got prime but since it's not released here, I've found a torrent that someone had uploaded.

Or if anyone wants to see it streaming.. Note that I found this on Reddit and it works at this moment. So not sure if it'll be up in the future.

I want to watch it but don't know where, why don't they make it pay per view ?

Did you see my post over on AE? They have opened up Australia early. Just go amazon.co.uk and sign up and you'll be able to watch it on your desktop. And if you do it today it'll only cost you $99 for a year instead of $15 per month. I signed up this arvo, and am about to start watching.

It was awesome. BBC shot themselves in the foot.

:iamwithstupid:

the show was pretty much the good old top gear but with a noticeably bigger budget AKA everything i had hoped for

It was great! I love the 4k resolution. You can tell Amazon let the guys be themselves and not turn them into something else. It was good to see my favorite 3 middle-aged British men together again.

The scorpion in the desert was built and owned by my good friend Kirk Jellum. He also built the fire breathing preying mantis on freemont street in Las Vegas.

Super cool dude. He is an aerospace engineer that just finished the chassis for the James Webb telescope that is replacing the Hubble.

He also races spec Z with me.

Wow I can't wait to see it. Did they mix it up? Or was it just the same as old top gear format. It would be a great opportunity to get rid of some of the terrible segments like the celebrity interviews.

Looks like the BBC just lost their top world wide property. Smart move on Clarkson et al to go OTT on the first episode. Makes the rebooted Top Gear look like a regional theatre production.

It was a shitty situation for the BBC, they didn't have a lot of options and im sure they knew the outcome would suck. I dont think they ever anticipated their show would be irrelevant so quickly.

Clarkson may own the most expensive punch in history.

Finally they did it right and tested the big 3 the right way (won't spoil it)

well i can only guess the P1 beat the 918 because I've seen nothing in the news about Jeremy Clarkson changing his legal name to Jennifer.

Question - if I get Amazon Prime so I can watch Grand Tour - can I watch it on a smart TV, or will it only be available on smaller device like computer/ipad?

I'm not much for tech stuff. Hubby is somewhat a tech geek but even he doesn't seem clear on this question.

We checked apps on the TV and the only Amazon app involved music. Didn't see anything that we could download that would allow Amazon TV viewing - but maybe once you join you get the keys to the kingdom?

If you're tv has an app store, download amazon video app. I have a Samsung smart tv and that's the app I use. Just check and see if you have any other type of Amazon apps that might let you stream it. If not you can go pick up the Amazon fire stick and watch it through that.

I'm sure they're just getting warmed up but it wasn't very good (I thought Top Gear was the best show on TV) . Everyone talks about how big the new budget is, BUT the track is dinky and overall it just seems a little low rent. The only savior for me was they got the top three current exotics together for a shoot out, props to them for talking Ferrari into that one. Humor was off, lots of parts dragged on, but I hope it gets better.

We have a couple Samsung smart TV's and for whatever reason it didn't come up in the kitchen (where we checked yesterday) - but Amazon video is available on the master bedroom tv.

Thanks!!

EDIT - subscribed and TV is added!

They were nervous as f, but managet it professionally. It will get a lot better when they loosen up. Also they left many thing off from purpose so there will be more in coming episodes. Most of the studio stuff was a long middle finger to restrictions they got from bbc legal. You cant do this and that. So they did not.
