  1. Well, turned out to be the AC controll head. For an 06 stock G with 18000 miles, I had to replace the compressor, control head and small parts like orfice tube, dryer. $5000 later its cool air again. Oh yeah my main rear oil seal is leaking. Guess ill get that replaced at clutch time.Hmmmmmm should have moved to the great white north. LOL Still love the car.
  2. I put in a new compressor, dryer, orfice tube and my old comp. was leaking at the shaft seal. Im thinking that they might not have pulled a good vacume. It's a new system basicaly. and the air flow thing might be something else.It 's air flow osillates up and down on both sides all the time??? THANKS for the advice.
  3. Good to know it will cool correctly, Thanks for the info Mike
  4. ILL ASK THEM TO CHECKIT. THEY WERE PERPLEXED AND HAD TO CONTACT THE FACTORY?? Have not heard back. Does yours cool well. Mine will only go to 70Deg. Ill bet that it the switch you are talking about or they might not pulled a good vacume long enough. Thanks for your help
  5. I purchused my 06 G in Feb. and I live in Florida. My AC compressor went bad after about 1000 miles, so I had them replace it and of cource the temp in Feb is cooler then Aug. but when they replaced it in the end of July, it did not cool worth a dahm. Returned with the car and asked if the could check the freon level. They said it was slightly low do to a small leak. Got it back and it's not cooling to where it is unconfortable to drive and the blower ocilates up and down. One second you have blowing air and the next you dont. I don't know if they are related, but the question is Does the AC in a 06 cool in 90 deg. temp to where you can cool down in the car? I have to open the windows and let the warm air out and after the thermal temp goes down it still does not cool the car down. No tint on any windows, but I would think it would cool enough to make it confotable. In the am it does OK and late evening after dark it does OK
  6. Brian, I heard that Homestead has a track to both drive your car on and has professional drivers to assist on the max. performance of our Lambo's and will drive with you. Have you heard of this?
  7. Orlando.. Are you in FL. As well?
  8. Did you have those wheels done after market? I was thinking of changing my 06 G from alluminum to dark gray. My G is dark gray They look very nice
  9. I have tried to down load music from I tunes to my sd card and no luck. When I put it in the slot in my G it says reading but will not play like it is not realy reading the card. I followed the G books limits as far as files and SD card size. (1 Gig, hard to find such a small SD card.) I googled it and looked in the G books and tried everything I know. Have you or anyone had this issue? I want to use the cards but had no luck. Can you help????
  10. I drive my G every day and I did have my 15000, service done. I love it, just hoping it keeps driving well with no big issues. The cluch snap was great and it is very clean. Thanks for the info Mr. Ed Nice G
  11. What is the best twin turbo to add to a 06 G and how much HP does it add ?
  12. Well, It was the comppressor. Pressure switch did not help save the compressor??? I guess some times the compressors just go out at 17,000 miles. When I took pressures before I took it in, they were 40 and 40 and running, 40 and 40 so I knew it was the compressor as well as it was leaking oil. Has anyone ever noticed a light thump on the emergency brake button while the compressors running? a thump or knock about every 5 seconds. You can feel it on your emergency break button. Is it OK to run the A/C all the time durring running it hard and not so hard??????
