Alex F. Report post Posted February 13, 2015 I went for a drive this past Sunday and 5 minutes before parking, I rolled down both windows (auto down) when I exited the freeway. When I pulled into the parking space, I tried to put the windows up, and they didn't move. I listened closely and I could hear a faint "click" sound coming from the switches when I pressed them. When I got home, I checked the fuses and they were fine. I replaced the fuse anyway just in case it was a faint break that I could see; still doesn't work. I checked LamborghinTalk forum and someone had a similar experience and just said it was the switch and wiring but that is all he knew. Has anyone experienced something similar? I am planning on purchasing some switches but I find it odd that they both went out at the same exact time. Thanks
Destructo Report post Posted February 13, 2015 Were you able to get into the center console and inspect the connection?
Alex F. Report post Posted February 13, 2015 Were you able to get into the center console and inspect the connection? Hopefully it is simple but I will take the console apart this weekend. Any write-ups on how to remove the center console?
Market Top Report post Posted April 17, 2017 Dusting off an old thread rather than start a new one. I'm having the same issue on my 03 Murcie. Window stuck open - can hear a clicking sound - but won't go back up. Is there a way to get the window closed until my mechanic (in a different city) can deal with this properly? Thanks! RobberBaron Report post Posted April 17, 2017 These windows must just be poorly designed. My passenger window moves up slower than a snail, whereas my drivers side window works perfectly.
VCR Report post Posted April 17, 2017 These windows must just be poorly designed. My passenger window moves up slower than a snail, whereas my drivers side window works perfectly. That could be an easy fix if it's not electrically/mechanically related. The inner side of the rubber strip on the window frame is lined with a coat of felt. Over time, the felt wears out and the glass is in contact with the rubber directly which grips the glass slowing the window movement. The obvious long-term solution is to replace the rubber strip but that's a fairly tedious procedure. The quick solution is to spray the inner side of the rubber strip with a teflon spray and that should work at least for a while; repeat spraying when needed. NRG x Lambo Report post Posted April 18, 2017 the windows are heavy, and the regulators tend to wear out over time. could just be a dead regulator.

I had a problem where sometimes the windows would work and sometimes they wouldn't, the problem was a faulty window ECU...
