Jeff SD Report post Posted March 13, 2018 GT3 gave the Huracan a hard time off the line.. Great video , Bud!! Did not expect the Huracan to be quicker off the line than the GT3 4.0. Impressive.
shadowzz Report post Posted March 15, 2018 @Jeff SD i think you meant the other way around. I was not expecting the RWD gt3 to be so close to the the 4wd huracan off the line.

I'd say that's a decent sized jump and that explains some of it. Off the line the LP610 has the advantage of awd and power whereas the GT3 has the advantage of less weight (400 lbs if not more I'm guessing) and the engine over the rear wheels (and maybe tires if that's the case). Gearing matters too of course.

A Turbo S looks like it will do even more damage based off of this.

CHADW Report post Posted May 19, 2018 Yeah, pretty unexpected. A Turbo S looks like it will do even more damage based off of this. Turbo S is very quick to 100 or so. World class to 60-ish.
Shack Report post Posted May 19, 2018 So I did not see the video but I did drive 1200kms with a buddy and his GT3RS. Every imaginable condition from wet to dry to mountain passes to long straights and also b and c roads and I made very quick work of the 3RS. It wasnt even a challenge and while the 3RS was squirming around in the wet I was rock solid. I had a 3RS and hence can compare the two cars from knowledge of driving both to my limit. Hands down the Performante was a far better car in ALL aspects
Blown SRT Report post Posted May 19, 2018 My Turbo S to 60 is ~ same as my HP...till 60-70, and then the HP starts to take a strong lead.

Hands down the Performante was a far better car in ALL aspects Being a RWD traditionalist, the Performante has to be the most hyped AWD car I've ever seen. Not saying it doesn't deliver, but never seen an AWD Porsche get this level of press! Can't wait to drive!
Blown SRT Report post Posted May 22, 2018 That would be a 911 TTS, which I happen to have...and it's a great car, in every respect, but the HP is simply faster, lighter and more track oriented than the TTS. It's more quirky than the 911, but that's to be expected. The 911 is over engineered to death. Hard to beat. The 911 isn't what I would refer to as a supercar either...more like a seriously mass-produced, very capable monster. The HP is an exotic with the performance to backup its looks. More TTS cars will be built / sold in a year than the entire HP program.
