Charlie Report post Posted May 22, 2017 Had the pleasure of meeting Nicky and his brother Tommy years ago. So sad to hear that he passed from the car hitting him on his bicycle. Man, it is amazing that this does happen often. A few years ago we lost another roadie in AZ from a driver hitting a cyclist. RIP Nicky and thoughts and prayers going out to his family. So sad that we're losing all these racing legends (people who put their lives on the line every time they compete) to normal "everyday" activities. We lose Nicky in a cycling accident. We "lose" Michael Schumacher to a skiing accident. This was the documentary that got me hooked on Hayden. I am a ROSSI fan, but I have a lot of respect for Hayden.
