Can you guys help me out with what this symbol means? Just got the car a couple weeks ago and it didn't come with an owner's manual. Here are a couple more pictures of the car:

Thanks for your help,

It's a check engine light for cylinders 1 to 5. You'll need to scan the car to read the code in order to find out what caused the check engine light. It could be sensor failure. A common ODBII code reader will tell you. Any generic shop would be able to do it with a cheap handheld scanner.

If it's getting cold where you're at, it's probably the misfire tubes getting some condensation in them.

As dj says, just have it scanned, and let us know what code pops up.

i've heard something similar when i picked up my gallardo. what are normal remedies to fix? and is it a serious issue? my CEL went off and then turn back off as soon as i drove the car a bit. the previous owner didn't drive the car a lot. within a day it was gone - and i haven't seen it since!

It's not really a big deal. I don't know if much can be done to 'fix' it, some people say the stainless steel replacement tubes from Ricambi help to reduce its frequency.

Other people say that eventually the moisture in the tubes could cause the misfire sensor to fail, but I didn't have anything like that.

To the OP, either get a cheap scanner, or some places like AutoZone, or PepBoys will loan scanners out for free, or scan your car for free.

It happens frequently and not really a big deal. Warm your car up before you drive... especially if you have aftermarket exhaust. There can be up to 1 liter of condensation in the system, which needs to get out, otherwise it throughs the warning light. However, once the warning light is on, you have to run the car for a while as once the computer has re-run the system check 5 times w/o codes, it will reset and the warning light with disappear.

Hijacking this. Finished my clutch install and cranked the car up. Moved it back in R and forward in first (manual) and it's moving fine but I have a light on the dash that is an exclamation point in a triangle surrounded by a near circle of an arrow line. Any ideas what this Is? AWD system? Don't have a manual. Guessing there is a plug I missed reconnecting. I remember the 2 in the rear on the trans/dif. The one beneath the air box and the one at the bottom of the oil reservoir. Is there one on the passenger side engine near the bellhousing for the front driveshaft? I can crawl up under there again but wanted to check what the warning light is. Thanks!

Did you have battery disconnected? sure you did. It sound like the ESP light. Its on because the steering angle sensor needs reprogramed. Just drive the car around the block should reprogram sensor. Best I can do with out pic of the warning light.

Hey Jeff, thanks. I did undo the battery and I did see something in Google searches about steering. Picture below is not from me but basically what the symbol is.

I thought it might be something with the battery because all my electrical plugs are connected.
