topjay Report post Posted May 8, 2017 Thought you guys might like to see this from the Vmax200 event, did some datalogging with Pbox Was raining and then damp but it did dry a little towards the end of the day. Suprised how fast the Huracans were, only just beat them by the end of the day. Of the normal cars 918 was fastest then SV then Huracan. The big power stuff didnt really run as the conditions were not great but there were some fast GTRs and 911s So, as far as the modes go sport 0-60 was about 4.2 Corsa 3.5 and launch 3.1 this was pretty consistent over a few runs. Also didn't really make that much difference to the top speed all within a few mph of each other which was interesting. Runway is rough so some serious taping which amused everyone, luckily no damage, only big hits were down the sides low down below the big intakes, was expecting them to be on the arches but not so much. Here is a bit of video from my wifes instagram accounts, tbh noting came past so hard to gauge the relative speeds, Huracans were super fast though. Had a go with a Aston one-77 and couldn't even see him in the mirrors! Vs 675, SV was faster off the line, lost a little in the mid gears and then was pulling on it at 140 plus was probably the only really good clean runs we got both using launch so not much driver input https://www.instagram.com/p/BTwKjKhgX-M/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BTwoPzFDlWH/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BTwzAoADS9J/ Tape More Tape Still more tape Less tape after it got wet! topjay Report post Posted May 8, 2017 nice! so the only car that beat you was the 918? Well the only car that wasn't very highly modified, its 1/4 mile speed was 140 to my 133, don't know about the top speed, 918 looks cool but sounds terrible in comparison to the big naturally aspirated stuff. The GTR's running around 900hp had a higher top speed but didn't cross the line first if that makes sense, SV is fast off the line, there were some big power cars there like a 1300 hp 911 and some GTR's over 1000hp that were going over 200 the Porsche did 215 but they wouldn't run in the damp and so i left as they were starting to come out to play as it dried up at the end of the day, when i left it was 918, SV Huracan, 675, GTR's in that order but not sure when they updated as everyone was getting faster as it dried out and they were manually entering the times. Didn't get to run much interesting as it was just luck of the draw who was out at the in and in the queue they had a board up of all the splits and leader board so people could see, was pretty well organised. Huracan was probably the nearest competition, seriously close, made me want a performante as well, they are a bargain by comparison for the performance you are getting. They also had an Aston Vulcan there but it couldn't put the power down until about 1/3 of the way down the track, sounded cool though. topjay Report post Posted May 8, 2017 That was on Pzeros not corsas and wing set to max downforce, just in case anyone was interested. Also got a little chance to throw the car about on the return leg round the bends, totally different to aventador, no understeer and just endless grip, and you can feel what it is doing, not in the same way as a Huracan but enough to be enjoyable which the Aventador never really was, the day made me love the car a lot more, it can seriously handle a lot better than i thought it could and you would never find out on a road unless you are very brave.
