Verde LM002

I guess it's time I share with L-power my newest Lambo I have added to my Bull pen. I picked up a 1987 LM002. I really regretted selling my last LM and knew I had to have one again. I ended up finding one and It's the 30th one Lambo built. The really cool thing about this LM is that it's one of two painted in Verde by Lamborghini. I think the second one is in Italy

I want to thank Roy for all his help, he is a true standup guy and if anyone is looking at buying a Lambo then you HAVE to buy from him. Many many many thanks goes to Roy!!!!! I owe you some tequila and a Elf :)

This LM was in Japan for many years and was neglected by that owner, it pretty much just sat in his collection. It did get a repainted from verde to gunmetal grey when it was in Japan. It was imported into the USA a few years ago and underwent a respray back to it's original Verde colour which is just so cool!

it needed plenty of work when I bought it and Roy recommend the perfect shop to send it to. It has been there for a few months so I thought I would start a little build thread so you Lambo enthusiasts could see the progress on it.

The first pics are when it was in Japan and finished in gun metal grey......

Beautiful! If I was to get an LM002, this would be the only color I would have it painted in!

Do you have any pictures of the resto? I'd love to see!

I think I'd paint the wheels black, IMO. :)

So the last owner had it repainted back to the original Verde color. Refinished the wood in the interior. Painted some of the trim pieces and added the wrong tires....

I sold the Huracan because it was so good it was boring!!! It just does everything so well that it has lost its soul and passion. The exhaust sound was great at first but over time you notice the snap, crackle, pop is always the same. Don't get me wrong its an amazing car but just not for me!

So there is a huge list of things that need to be done on this truck and we are starting with the safety items first and major issues. Two of the spark plugs where plugged into the wrong spots and we decided to replace the plugs with new ones.....

Also had an issue with it stalling for no reason, It ended up being the factory magnetti-marelli ignition box so we gave it an upgrade with a newer campi ignition and have had no issues since....

Wheels have also been removed. Had some issues with the paint peeling and paint being too thick on the hub side. They will be refinished in Gloss black!!!!
