I'm in Los Angeles next week and was wondering if you guys could suggest a few good/trendy bars/clubs/restaurants for me to take the Mrs to?

Food wise probably looking for either great view/atmosphere or Japanese

Staying in West Hollywood

..... and in case I get a few spare minutes and good car places to visit?

EP & LP. Great food and the rooftop has a really great bar/lounge that's chill. Also Toca Madera is a great spot close by there as well. For cars, there's the Beverly Hills area (Ferrari, Lambo, Bently/Rolls Royce/ Bugatti & McLaren).

PM Me if you'd like since I am in he the area :icon_thumleft:

Also Beverly Hills has a lot of heavy hitters from the UAE driving around now too. Bugatti g500 4x4 918's p1. Also a lot of weird other Saudi tricked out Benzs and others. Count less Ferrari lambos. Ferrari of Beverly Hills has a clean F40 sitting in the window

One of the best restaurants in LA is Providence in Melrose. It's a tasting style menu, very decadent.

Lots of cool lounge bars but I've been out of the scene for a while now with 4 kids.

The Standard has been around forever.

You should hang out on Sunset Blvd and/or Rodeo Dr to see some very cool cars cruise by.

Malibu as well.

Mr. Chow's on Camden in Beverly Hills

Bring lots of money lol

12-14 years ago the Ivy was the spot, but it's changed. Lots of Euro tourists now.

Madeos on Beverly is great, Italian food. Old school feel, kinda like the 70's. Lot's of notable people eat there. I met the top guy of TSA there a couple years ago there. Foods great.

Mastro's on Canon imo is over rated and just a scene. However most ppl like it

Soho house WeHo if you know anyone with a membership. Great view, ok food, good vibe, interesting people.

I like Capo in Santa Monica for Italian, Georgios has been mentioned already - good fish.

Weirdly Rose Cafe on Rose has great oysters. Good new brunch spot in Venice called Great White. Super relaxed, great coffee and food.

Check out Nobu in Malibu if you want something by the water. Not the greatest sushi but nice location.

Ignore All Nobus. MacDonalds of sloppy high end sushi. Its a no go for above mentioned reasons. Go mart or Takao for sushi. Japanese meat Tokoratu, doubt you can get in. If you want to do Korean - Corner Place or Soot Bull Jeep.

Soho House is fun, my first time there wound up getting comped 3 free desserts with dinner and taking an irish cougar home :lol2:

For sushi you gotta go to Sushi park, my favorite sushi spot in all of LA. Bring your checkbook for sure, but it's wort the premium. Yamashiro is great for food and views too.

Catch is good!

Have you ever eaten at Tuscany off Westlake Blvd? The food is good, not fantastic... but its not expensive either. The scene is alot of fun though.. We sit at the bar and are friends with the bartenders who serve great cocktails. For some reason all the rockers go there and you never know whats gonna happen.
