Yes & no Wheels.

Yes, that's the fish. But...no traces of toxins are suppose to be on the serving whatsoever as it can and will be fatal with plenty of proven cases. If people get euphoric sensations from eating Fugu, then the chef is doing it all wrong and will be arrested in Japan for being criminally negligent.

So what did it taste like? Tell us more about your food bouquet you got going on in those pics?

The Russians also bought the «Lamborghini of Emendator», the cost of which amounted to 17 million rubles.

Well, to be fair, sashimi is sashimi so don't expect miracles. But it has that natural sweetness in it that's just sensational and indescribable. And it isn't all mushy like most sashimi/sushi, their is a slight hint of "crisp" in it despite its raw form. Put it this way, I am actually not a big fan of seafood but I will not give up a chance to have Fugu; given that it's properly prepared, of course; that says something.

As to the rest, those are just the appetizers. This is part of a Kaiseki Dinner course where one is served a full course meal put together and prepared by the head chef. A dedicated well-trained server presents and serves the dishes to the clients. Consider it an elaborate feast of some sort. As you may know, taste is only part of the formula: plating, visual impact and overall presentation and harmonization between one plate to the other play vital roles too.

I've always wanted to try fugu. The pics look amazing VCR. I tried uploading pics, but some would work...some I get a "you did not pick a file" error even if the file was chosen. Just another thing to get frustrated with here. I'll give it another shot later.

I think LP doesn't like files over a certain size and maybe certain extensions.

I realize this is the non-kebab thread, but I linked up with Slowpoke/Transamera last weekend for some food and drinks while I was in Sweden for my greencard interview. He's not active on this forum anymore but is doing great and has opened up a popular kebab restaurant ( http://meatonastick.se/ ). He also has an Instagram where he reviews street food around the world: https://www.instagram.com/kebabspotting/?hl=en

Top Gear: In eleven years at the company you’ve met a huge number of your customers, can you tell us what a typical Lamborghini owner is like?

Stephan Winkleman: It seems very superficial, but it’s really male. Usually, they’re all self-made men – ranging from those in the 20s right up to men in their 70s. They’re very proud of their product, and they have no fear to be seen in a car like this.

And when I speak to them, I feel that they buy into a world, not only into a product. So it’s also a lifestyle, an idea they see behind that. And they enjoy the car as something that is rewarding them for the hard work they’re doing, or a dream that came true after, say, saving for 20 years.

Thank you AudiBull! This thread was meant for you all along! We need you to post more pics as you are the culinary connoisseur of this forum. Most pics, even taken by cel phones, need to be resized in order to fit and work here. All the above were taken by cel but I had to resize all of them to around 200KB in order for them to work.

Agree with Smurf Balls. Good to know that he's doing well. He provided some great humour while he was here. Ask him to come back.

Yeah, I know about the size limitations and other quirks. It's strange, some pics will upload, others always return the same "You did not pick a file" error. They are all the same size, same file location, taken the same day. I even transferred them from my phone to PC and get the same result.

Anyway, here is a great meal from a few months ago. Next in Chicago did a World's 50 Best Restaurants menu. 18 courses from some of the best restaurants around the world. All were executed well, served on the same service ware from the restaurants, and served by waiters and waitresses from the restaurants. At least six of the dishes were completely perfect. The langoustine from Tim Raue, Marine Soil from Central, the beef tongue and scallop from Quintonil, king crab in white miso from Noma, and the Eggs Benedict from Eleven Madison Park were the standouts.

This was a French Laundry 1996 menu. Also at Next.

Amazing rabbit saddle.

Two very memorable meals. VCR, the Kaiseki meals looked amazing.
