To be honest, reviews about exotics and practicality make me cringe. No cup holders, over steer, under steer, trunk space etc....imo these concerns are irrelevant, because that isn't the purpose for a car like a huracan.

So true, it's a God damn sports car, why are you surprised when you aren't getting a holder for your Coke and KFC bucket, a button which sucks the fun pedal from your right foot, space for your entire wardrobe and a back massage function ? Whom buys one with those priorities in mind? Weird!

Anyway, there is plenty of space in these cars, myself and Daddyo manage to squeeze a tone of LV bags (ohh the humanity, don't let Nero1234 read this) in our LP560 during the Grande Girro in Italy icon_mrgreen.gif I will look to see if I have photos, it was hilarious but we've done it and it worked!

I'm sick and tired hearing people complaining about cupholders issue. Do what I do, don't forget I live in beautiful Redneckland.

After several years' absence from the Lambo community after selling my 98 Diablo SV, I'm back! I recently rented a Huracan for two days, thinking I might be interested in owning one at some point. I wrote up a review of it here:

"This is not a practical car. This is a car to pick up Rihanna on your way to the VMAs."

well, at least ur SV stayed in the LP family.

love this line "as if EGA and Kings Quest was happening all over again."

never played King's Quest but owning/driving a 2008 Gallardo was literally Leisure Suit Larry.

Not sure if you are trying to drive traffic to a site, but can you post the review in the thread? The link is not working for me.

Turn Signal Conundrum....
So, according to Fortis, the turn signals do have the lane change feature (via slight pressure against the turn signal switch, as most new cars do).
But, I don't understand how the turn signals must be manually canceled once 'clicked' into a left or right turning position.
At least in the USA, there is a Federal mandate that the turn signal operating unit must be 'self-canceling' !! I never heard of any modern car that forces the operator to turn off the signals manually ! eusa_think.gif
This is straight from the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Code:
S5.1.1.5 The turn signal operating unit on each passenger car, and multipurpose passenger vehicle, truck, and bus less than 80 inches in overall width shall be self-canceling by steering wheel rotation and capable of cancellation by a manually operated control.

It will turn off the turn signal automatically if the steering wheel is turned enough in the opposite direction of the turn signal. Just like a manual turn signal switch.

I was not to impressed with the Huracan, but then again it is going after the mass market if you can call it that. It felt way to digital, kinda like a GTR or a McLaren, fast but no soul. Now a superleggera, that had a soul IMHO. I can't imagine how a diablo/countach would feel, maybe one day I will find out.

You obviously don't "get it"! You should NOT ever buy a Lamborghini. A Toyota or Kia maybe. I have owned everything from a Countach, Diablo, Murci, Aaventador, Huracan, etc. These are incredible cars. Works of Art really. No cup holders? Move on.

I drove the H about a week ago and loved it. The car is very fast but tje only reason I am not sold on it is the door...just feel if I am going to pay a $275k plus then the doors have to go up. ...hence really thinking of the Aventador.

If you were impressed enough to buy a Gallardo, which by any means, unless it's the SL version, isn't very raw, you probably didn't have enough with time with a Huracan or drove it in Strada at low pace, in Corsa on the right road the car unleashes Beast mode and it's a lot of fun, definitely not GTR/McLaren sterile.

You need more time in a Huracan.

Seriously. If you didn't like the P1 you could have sold it and made a nice chunk of change.

After just reading this thread, exactly my thoughts... Of course a Huracan is too much car for a guy that loves a Porsche with panties..
