Again.... members who read LP at work should not subject themselves for the embarrassment of XXX signatures flashing on their screens in front of their co workers.. we had a lot of complaints about it in the past.. it has nothing to do with 18 years old... LP is not an adult site by definition, we just don't want to bother with the younger crowds..

I have removed signatures before and will continue to do so in the future if I find them to be inappropriate..

There is also an option in edit board settings where you can turn off sigs.

I always select that for any forum Im on so I dont have to worry about monster sigs from people.

not saying thats what I feel should be done in this example just wanted to let people know of an option they might have missed.

His signature was in no way inappropriate, and this isnt the first time he's been experiencing this problem. I have no tolerance for stupid antics, and although this is such a trivial problem, I dont want anyone abusing their ability to change things. Bottom line I dont want this getting out of control. I'm not a rash person, nor do I abuse my power in anyway. I just make fair warnings.

On that note, I know all mods here are respected, and I will not interfere with any proceedings unless I feel they are significantly necessary. Obviously the mods have been here far longer than I have and I have nothing but respect for every member here. But again, I am here so that any childish games are only permitted to a certain degree. I hope that sounds fair enough.

I guess you should take the hint.

I agree, HOWEVER, slowpoke was called SEVERAL TIMES before on his sig, by me and others, we gently "Poked" him to change it but I guess he lives up to his name and is "Slow" poking our patience... some mod lost his.. (patience)

speaking of NWS sigs, I believe CL6 sports one that's a bit out there, no hard feelings, my computer is always on and LP is on 99% of the time, my little girls are in and out of my office stealing A4 paper for their drawings , I am always concerned that they will catch a glimpse of some nasty stuff.
I suggest we keep it civilized, we are all adults here, if I want to watch porn or soft porn I want to do it on my own terms, dedicated threads with appropriate warnings work very well for me.

When the content is in AVATARS or SIGNATURES, its impossible to do that.

Its just about being respectful of the other members and allowing them to get their Lpower fix any time, any where without being embarrassed or having to apologize for us.
