Ok, who actually runs this site?

I need to talk to you.

There is an ongoing problem with posting on this site.
I can not edit my own posts, once they have been posted up for a minute or two.
The "edit" radio button just diasappears, and I am only left with the "quote" and "reply" buttons.

What happened? Is it not possible to edit one's post after a few minutes (normal), or is this a forum bug?

It would be nice to be able to edit something after re-reading it and finding context errors or typos.
You can certainly do so on all other forums I frequent, so I am guessing this is a bug.

Anybody else seeing this problem?

I have tried contacting a number of moderators, with no response to date. This has been going on for a very long time, and is becoming very annoying.

Can someone step up and please help to resolve this important issue? Thanks in advance for the fix.

You should be able to edit your post, try to change the skin (at the bottom of the page) or clean your cache and cookies.

I have the same problem? I just always thought you only had a minute or two to make revisions...

You used to be able to edit anytime, but the last few months something changed and now you only have a short time before the edit button goes away. It is kind of annoying.

As far as I have noticed it goes like this:

You can edit your post as long as you want, until someone reply to same topic. Editing is forbidden immediately after that your post is no longer the last post in the topic.

If topic is constantly commented it might create illusion of some timed action taking place soon after posting.

Ok, tried changing the skin. I normally use the light blue skin. The verde bianco skin does allow me to multiquote! Wow, a new feature! I always wondered how people did these multiquotes.

But that one, and the rest of the skins still do not let me edit my own post, so that is not the solution.

Now the big question is, should not ALL the skins do the same thing? I think there is a BIG bug with this forum software!

Second, the cache and cookies you speak of, are you talking that one on the computer? I always scrub that clean, so that is not it either.

Any other suggestions? I now see that others are having the same problem.

Well, that is not it for me either. If I am the last post, and stay the last post, I still can not edit my own post even after a minute...

Maybe it's the problem with the "Lambo Owner" group. Some kind of rights for that group may be by mistake set differentely then for the general one.

Mods can you look into this please?
