By MONACO BODYGUARDS™ has been removed from all my threads.....

Why do you continue to make changes in my threads ? A few months ago you changed the heading in the same threads.

I start to get pretty sick and tired of that. Do you guys want want me to leave ?

Why don't you spend MORE time on making some threads YOURSELF.... contributing more to the forum instead of this.... ?????

So who did it and why? Speak up !!

No more moderator hiding. If you do some changes I want to know WHO did it and why!

Im not a Mod so Im not speaking for them, but my guess is they just wanted to clean things up a bit. I think everyone on this forum wonders (and has wondered) why you post things the way you do with the ALL CAPS in your titles and even for your user-name, and the TM' after each post, and the posting of your user name "BY MONACO BODYGUARDS" after each thread, it just never made sense to me. It comes off as kind of arrogant, and I think thats why they have warned you not to do so. The forum automatically announces who the author of each thread is to the right of the title. I always wondered why a thread with Lambo pictures in it couldnt just be, "Pics of Babes and Lambos", instead of "MY LAMBO PICS AND BABES THREAD - BY MONACO BODYGUARDS TM'".

By the way, just giving my .02 here so please dont take offense to it. I always enjoy your threads and I know there are plenty of us who have been interested in the stuff youve shared with the forum. That is just something Ive noticed in your postings over the years, and why Im pretty sure they are reacting this way.

I can offer you the same answer we gave to all the members in the past who threatened to leave... "it's up to you".. You can leave or you can stay just please spare us from your mega dramatic thread titles and your Trade Mark signs..
I don't know which mod removed them this time but I have edited your threads in the past and will keep on doing it in the future if I find the need...

I have used MONACO BODYGUARDS TM etc for many months, why did you need to change it now after so long?

Why don't you guys have clear guidelines, then I would have avoided this from the beginning.

At first my heading was changed ok ok I accepted that and was told I could write in the subtitle and everything was ok for months. Now you just change that too, WITHOUT any explanation or anything.

Just tell me from the BEGINNING and don't change it after months. You make new rules as you please.

Why could you have send me a PM explaining that you now have NEW rules for the subtitle as well and asked if I could change it myself.

I have made MANY MANY threads and since 2005 invested my time , energy and dedication into them. And THAT is the reason why I get so upset when some moderator changes the rules months after months. That is lack of respect for my work.

I make the threads, then I also want to decide the content and the design. This MONACO TM bla bla was just something I though was cool. No harm intended. It is just my "signature".

The MORE important thing is the content and that I stand for and that I am proud of.

I think you have misunderstood something. So let me make it clear for you:

You should be supporting old member that have contributing a lot to our forum, that itself should be valid for some sort of credit.

In the past they were removed in the heading, and I was told it was OK in the subtitle. Now after MANY months somebody suddenly decide to change the rules. That is why I start to think somebody want me to leave.

It was a question IF you guys wanted me to leave it was not a threat..... And by the way I don't care if you don't like my "mega dramatic thread titles", because THAT has NOTHING to do with THIS discussion.

I am with MB on this one, I enjoy his threads he does put a lot of effort into them with beautiful photos and huge amount of useful tips and info specially for travelers.
I don't see what the big deal is with the caption in the threads, he comes off as arrogant because he is arrogant who cares that's what his line of work requires him to be that's what he will be, as you Captain come across very cocky and sarcastic which by the way I appreciate the most because I honestly enjoy your witty answers and sarcasm, I love intelligent humor, nothing cracks me up more than reading one of your posts, we all bring something to the table, we all have our personality online sometimes it is very difficult to portray the exact person that we are in real life and we end up in conflict, I guess some of us find it very difficult to express in writing or english is our second language that's why sometimes we are being perceived as being, arrogant, cocky, sarcastic, dumb, intelligent, funny, rude keep on adding to this.

I do think that the way he went about deleting things from your threads was wrong and in the spirit of the game along with the fact that you are a respected forum member that contributes a lot, he should've contacted you first and ask you to remove it yourself explaining why he thinks that should happen, I guess it gets a bit boring in the monitoring booth in UK but in the same time his powers as a moderator allows him to do so without prior notice, being from Europe he's probably asked to monitor European members and that's what he's doing.

My personal opinion is that we should always try to get along and stop carrying on like a bunch of high school girls, I appreciate a person that speaks his/her mind I hate brown nosers I understand why MB is frustrated so MB if you want to stay or go that's your choice, it sucks to see contributing members go specially over nonsense but such is life, do whatever you have to do MB, I personally don't want to see you go but if you feel uncomfortable here why would you keep on posting this should be relaxing for you not a task.

Now since I have done this I am sure the world is still turning on its original axis.

No.
Has he had his titles modified prior to me becoming a mod?

Have the mods that did this told him?

So I am just being merely consistent here yet here we have someone who wants to sling mud at me yet what a lot of people do not realise is that this character is less than pure on here, falling foul of the boards terms and conditions previously.

Additionally if everyone started doing this then the board would look a right mess.

The management of the board decided to appoint me and if the management of the board feel they have made the wrong choice they will act so and I will respect that.

Monaco, you are a valued member of the board and the majority of the mods actually enjoy your threads quite a bit.

This is far too small an issue to let yourself get so fired up. From time to time we're going to make formatting or editorial changes to threads if we feel it better serves to improve the flow, cosmetics, or other areas of the site for our members.

Don't blow this out of proportion, it's not worth it.

But this time I don't back off, as I am right. Moderators can not and should not change the rules as we go by.

I just want CLEAR guidelines. Moderators can not tell me it is ok to do it in the sub-title and then change it just like that.
The reason for my irritation is that it has happened one too many times. I played along and followed the guidelines I got but then somebody just put that aside... not in my world or any.

Monaco, it is a fine line between a fair response and one that goes careering over a respectable boundary, you know this, and you have gone out of your way to insult me now. A style of language is selected for the occasion and a breviloquent tone is required in this unnecessary situation.

The chances of me making the changes to fall inline with your expectations are slim to non-existent. That is not me being arrogant that is the way of the board's format.

Breathe, Monaco, breathe.. This is not worth it, a great forum such as this one does not need unnecessary drama.

Some of the moderators have other screennames, mostly so that they can create an account, give it varying levels of permissions, and actually GO IN AND TEST what the changes have done.... it helps with the day to day maintainance stuff we do, that the general membership isnt aware of.
