  1. I found it most enjoyable to listen to while I was chewing on tin foil and masturbating with a brillo pad.
  2. I have been seeing the topic MGTOW recently. Although a rather extreme point of view, I thought it would relate to this topic and how some men are dealing with it.
  3. And then there is this lady.... http://www.aol.com/article/2016/07/13/woma...black/21431591/
  4. Hey, this seems legit....right?? http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/wan/5665073234.html
  5. I was surprised no one posted this about Jay Leno in the roll over accident. Fortunately everyone was ok. I remember this iconic car as a kid.
  6. Holy cow! Talk about going at this the wrong way.... There is so much info on this board written by strong driven self made people that the education you can receive here is worth ten fold any monetary donation. Instead of begging for funds, ask for ideas. "Hello wise community, I have been down on my luck and could really use some out of the box ideas on how to move forward with my life and be a productive citizen" You might be surprised at the outpouring. I will start with one. Now that you have secured a roof over your head, make yourself a valued commodity that the home owner wouldn't want to get rid of. Take on most if not all of the chores. Dust, vacuum, wash the windows, scrub the toilets, mow the yard, do the shopping, hose off the patio, remove the lint out of the dryer duct, organize the pantry, etc etc.
  7. What ever happened to having a part time job, living at home, and paying your own way through college? Although a community college sounds less impressive, I would take a debt free degree over the alternative. I certainly can not be the only person to do this?
  8. When ever I got out of town or occasionally see something unusual our local PD has always been more than happy to set up additional routes by our house (I didn't want to type "drive by" lol) File reports anyway. LEO will never know it is an issue. It may be happening to other residences also. If no one says anything, nothing will be done.
  9. For my wife and I, kids are like a vacation destination. "Great place to visit, just wouldn't want to live there" LOL But seriously, we are very happy being DINKs ( I am 45 and she is 52) We both admire a strong family unit but it is not for every one. My parents are supportive of my decision. Her parents are ok with it too (not that it should matter, but saves arguments) My advice and $.02 If it is not something that you are really sure you want to do, don't. PM me if you like.
  10. 1958 Buick Special. Red with black. Beautiful car. At 17 (1987) I couldn't cough up $900 on the spot.
  11. If a digital camera has a high enough resolution, some of the Fast Signs can take your photo and do that in a mural. The one at 38th st and Indian School in Phoenix just bought a machine to do just that.
  12. No experience with this company, but much more "my style" http://vulturekulture.com/
  13. I have used this artist Tori Long for a few projects. Extremely talented, creative, and fair priced. Most of his gallery photos are not garage related, but he loves automotive themed projects also. http://www.houzz.com/pro/artisticwallexpre...all-expressions
  14. That orange one has an AZ plate! Tell me where its at and I will report back
  15. Here are some "replica" ideas that are cool, will make you stand out, and will be more acceptable (more enthusiasts will understand why you opted to build a replica versus restoring a real model.) http://www.acautos.com/
  16. I remember the first time I listened to NIN Pretty Hate Machine.....
  17. At least they are taking their responsibility to keep the economy afloat seriously... LOL
  18. I also wanted to mention surveys. Especially when a car is under warranty. Many "pay plans" at dealerships have a CSI (customer satisfaction index) component. Several companies only consider 100% as an acceptable score. 1 badly scored question has a big impact.
  19. With most dealerships, cash is a no-no Sending in a small inexpensive lunch (delivered pizza, bbq, or sandwiches) is always welcomed, acceptable, and appreciated. The best of the best is a great Yelp or Google review. People only seem to post there when they are upset. Not enough satisfied customers will take the time to post a good interaction.
  20. My "out building" is more of a working shop, but if I could add to your wish list... Recessed floor lighting sure make it easier to work on them when they are on a lift. Be sure to add length for longer ramps for a lift. Low cars are hard to rack. When you add a compressor, be sure to have a good quality filter dryer system. A good dryer will automatically purge water as it collects it. A mezzanine that goes around the car while it is up in the air on the lift is really useful. 220v items can have different plugs. Restroom and wash sink. Monitored security Dedicated laptop station and wifi
